I think Big Walt is one of those guys who is just so naturally talented that it might be hard for him to coach guys.

Step B: Work real hard!
He's one of those guys that just has something others don't. Like Earl Thomas. How is Earl gonna teach someone to play like he does? "Well first, you have to be the fastest guy on the field at all times..."

Guys like Walt in the NFL are yes exceptionally talented but they also work harder than everyone else as well. Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders and Larry Bird also come to mind. Yes these guys worked their asses off during the offseason. If Walt can teach them on what they should work on EVERYDAY then at the very least it will make them better players. I want guys to be good but also fundamentally sound.

Don't forget, talent doesn't keep you from making stupid mistakes. Walt was exceptionally talented, worked hard, was very smart and a great team leader.

I wish Walt would create a basic training course each off season that all Seahawk linemen were encouraged to go to, TE's included.
