Seahawks now have $63M in cap space, plus another $10M if DK is traded (or $18M if designated post 6/1). The team building is now wide open for JS.

Will he pull a 2020(?) and blow $50M+ with nothing to show for it? Or will he use the opportunity to effectively improve this roster?

This is his 1st chance where we can judge him on his moves without asking "was it JS or PC?" and I'm looking forward to it. I hope he nails it.

If they sign Darnold most of that cap space will be gone.

I really don't understand how he can command such a high value after only 1 good season on a good team

Yeah that’s not true. His market is reportedly lighter than many thought it would be.

In Schneider we trust, and he is a champion!

His market hasn’t even opened up yet. Besides if we are in the mix that just adds to his perceived value. More teams higher the asking price

Meh these guys all talk and all the big names have reported exactly that. They probably have a fairly good grasp of it ahead of time. But we will see. It could drive the price up for sure

Kirk Cousins might be close to vet min. Give him a year prove it deal.

If Uchenna is cut that's another 19m in cap space

Good free agents prefer better teams. We'll get the mercenaries though.
