We are not a tier one team simple as that. Bottom tier two or tier 3. I expect more of the same next Sunday, and if we happen to limp into the playoffs, i expect an early and embarrassing exit.

Me personally, I will continue to have faith in Macdonald and JS until they show me their inability to beef up our trenches over the next off season. If that happens then I know we're in for more of the same with this coaching staff and front office.

The coaches and players say stupid crap like "We got hit in the mouth", or "We just didn't play the way we are capable of playing"...

Maddening.

WHY NOT?!?!

You were on national television and had every one of us believing this was our coming out party. Instead? You shit the bed!

WHY?
Your first mistake was believing it was a coming out party 😆😆

This team isn't talented enough for that. Especially against stiffer competition.

Silly boy

Packers were better prepared with a better gameplan. At one point Collinsworth said LaFleur called the perfect play (against the called D) 3 times in a row. LaFleur said in his halftime interview that everything was working for them. The D got a little better in the second half. The O got worse without Olu and then Geno...but was outplayed and out-schemed from the beginning. There were some plays that can be attributed to poor personal performance (Riq seemed to be out of position all night) but, in general, it seemed like this game was decided in the tape room and on the practice field last week.

That's how I interpret "We didn't play how we're capable." It wasn't an individual effort or individual performance problem. Packers were just prepared for everything that happened from the first play. Seahawks were surprised and had to react in 3-5 seconds. In addition to all that, they're a better team right now.
Yeah, right. Their game plan was to run the ball down our throat and to destroy our offensive line.

Couldn't have ******* said it better myself.

Load of shit. I'm really pretty much packing in the season at this point. Unfortunately.

What a ******* letdown.

Meh, I blame our draft failings and roster misses on carroll more than JS for the simple fact, soon as carroll was gone, we started drafting players to address needs. Not skill players we didnt need. I'm for giving him one more off season to prove himself.

The defense got gassed early, the offense dis nothing to help the defense.

I don't buy that excuse. I've seen plenty of defenses give up long drives and more TOP and not look gassed. Hell we had a game in the last couple years(can't remember who it was) where we dominated TOP heavily and the other defense looked fine

Their O-line…big difference vs ours.

My son went to HS and is friends with Myers. Dude player guard at Miamisburg (OH) and made the move to Center at OSU.

Now, only talking high school here but, Myers made subpar RBs look like all-state performers.

He, along with the rest of the Packs O-line, are doing the same damn thing in GB…sans subpar RB. Jacob’s is a really good back.

If I were rebuilding a team, and if the GM didn’t agree with building a team from the inside out, I’d have serious issues with it.

If you have an All-Pro type QB, an All-Pro type RB, All-Pro type receivers and your line sucks, each of those positional players are going to look average at best.

If you have a mediocre QB, mediocre RB, mediocre receivers, etc…but have an All-Pro type line, your skilled guys are going to look pretty damn good.

Everyone likes ‘shiny’ shit. ‘Draft this QB’, ‘take this can’t miss RB’, ‘ooohh WR here’….Im guilty of thinking this way as well. Not saying those positions should never be drafted but, if your line sucks….you’ve got to get your priorities straight.

Yep, he's very transparent. I appreciate that about him. Pete was golly gee, shucks, we should have done this blah blah blah.
That got old WAY before they moved on from him, imo.

Did you watch the game. Those drives were running plays, and we were getting pounded. Run after run. 3 back to back long drives. Yeah, and our defense isn't at that level yet to over come stuff like that. So call it an excuse if you want i call it how I see it.

Offensive line this, offensive line that...

Literally they could take OL with all their draft picks and it doesn't mean they'd be good at it.

This might not go over well....I am disappointed with how bad we looked on Sunday. But based on the anger I think there are a lot of people here who underrated how good the Packers are. No I am not a Packer fan in any way...they are right up there with the Cowboys and our division rivals as far as teams I want to see lose.

That game just proved to me MacDonald is on the right track but there's a way to go before this team can go toe to toe with the top 5 or so in this league.
