I rather enjoy getting news like that. I can't be there and if Flying Greg is there covering it, I certainly want to read / see it.

Man I love it when people provide reports from what they see at TC. If you don't like them than don't read them. Those that make them put a lot of time and hard work into and I appreciate it.

I LOVE the camp posts. In fact, the highlight of the last two days was getting to read FlyingGreg's AMAZING camp report. It was from a fan's point of view and gave me the feeling that I got to experience a bit of camp. It wasn't one of Sando's dry information only posts (which are great as well, but from the unbiased reporter), or one of Eric Williams' in depth reports on a specific aspect. It was all encompassing and gave us cool little tidbits like Zach was limping a bit, but said he'd be back soon. That is great news, and something that a reporter might not even report on because Zach was out of the boot.

This is why I come here and love this site. I know I swore off watching the games because I got too angry, but I didn't swear off following training camp from the fan POV. It's a great experience to live vicariously through those who take the time and energy to discuss what they saw and help us formulate how things are going to work as far as rotations and formations and who is working their way into a job and so forth. Great great GREAT stuff and why I love me some dotnet.

Yeah, the nice thing is that the preseason and then the regular season games will be underway soon, so all of the
melodrama, speculation and nonsensical chatter around here will finally come to an end. Phew!

Well shoot. That's it, close the board down. No speculation. No sharing of information. No fun. That is all.

How about this....since none of us work for the Seattle Seahawks organization, every freakin post is speculation. You want to stretch that to gossip, that's fine. Don't throw me in with a f***ing sewing cirle....this is football gossip!

Seahawk fans have been waiting six months for this. I appreciate the hell out of the .netters' training camp reports. I'm not gonna judge.

FlyingGreg had a very nice write up today.

I live in Portland, so I'll take any shred of training camp recap I can get. Pathetic? Maybe. But then again I can't wait for the preseason. That's summertime desperation.

Don't feel bad, though. I showed my noob colors in my first post yesterday and got called out. Chalk it up to earning our stripes.

And for anyone new reading. You can check out the stickied Training camp post that list all the links for daily coverages. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=69885

seahawks.com streams live from 10:30-11:30 at camp.

Then you can join us in speculation when we see Marshawn grab his balls.

To the OP,

I would state that your lack of enthusiasm about all things Seahawks may be an indicator of your commitment to the organization. But seeing as how this may be construed as an attack on your fan status, I won't. Go Hawks!

Funny, basically the thread should say "can we please stop talking about something that's important to all of us?"

Funny, the way the OP feels about the amateur reporters on here is exactly the way I feel about Tony Ventrella and every single one of his reports/sunshine and lollipops stories.
