You still have to win enough games to at least win your division or just win enough games period to make it in the tourney. There’s no excuse for some teams to look like garbage once they are in. Just be competitive. Make it a game! Why is that so hard to ask?
Sometimes matchups just don't lead to good games, unfortunately.
Pittsburgh fell apart down the line. They never had an offense that was supposed to do anything more than keep them with a respectable TOP, which went down the toilet whenever they had to pass more than run. A team like the Ravens who can score easily while ALSO controlling TOP? Terrible matchup.
Denver had a great defense but were better against the pass than the run and Buffalo just ran it down their throats. It was a great gameplan and Denver doesn't have an offense to come back from that.
Los Angeles and Houston? That was just weird. Houston's defense really stepped up and Herbert hasn't really had to do anything like that all season and was exposed a little bit.
Green Bay and Philly? This is actually a pretty close game. Green Bay's just losing players left and right and that turnover to start the game was the major difference. (Also, both of these teams are actually better defenses than offenses, despite how much we talk about Barkley, Hurts, Love... so, this game is kind of what you might expect.)
