He can get things like: the positions of constellations, the movement of planetary objects, and the actual position of the star we depend on (the Sun) completely wrong though.

No one forced you to come to this forum or even read my post. I have explained my thoughts on Jerry Dipoto being the real source of the problem with Mariners multiple times in this forum. The Mariners have not been a good hitting team for the most part since he took over as GM. The constant issue has been hitting. If you don't agree that's fine.
