In the new era, I feel that the overtime rules need to change.

In the old days, it was pretty legit to say that it's a team sport, and you have to make a defensive stop.

In today's NFL, every advantage goes to the offense. I think you have to give both offenses a crack at the ball.

The coin toss gives a profound advantage to the winner. Curious if the stats back me up

I approve this message.

Wouldn't it have been amazing to see a Mahomes vs Allen 5OT shootout, 77-70 game?

That’s not true. All you have to do is stop them and have them punt. All you need is a FG

Why did the Bills not make the kick returnable to take time off the clock..?? Cost them the game ..!!

This is the difference in good and great coaches
Because Music City Miracle...I'm certain that if Buffalo had made the kick returnable and it resulted in a TD there would several on here saying "why didn't they kick it through the endzone?"

Congrats to Mahomes But def hate that family
Serious question why do you hate that family. Did Pat Mahomes (Patrick’s Dad) strike you out in high school baseball a few times or something?

In 1999, I managed to draw a walk in the playoffs from a guy who was later made an offer by the Dodgers and played for the Ducks. But, he wasn't a collegiate pitcher, and I knew I could get the walk because he had poor control of his emotions. That's all I've got.

With the entire rule book pretty much stacked against you.

My questions is, why the Bills D played to stop the TD when their was only 13 secs left and clearly would be happy just to get into field goal range.. strange. THey were 40 yards behind the line and they should have only rushed 3 rushers.. let Mahone run,,

There are two kicking issues. Why not kick inbounds to take some of those 13 seconds away. Idk. Maybe they fair catch it anyway. KC is smart. Second you have to go for the onside kick in OT. If you lose the coin flip. Everyone in the world knew the team with the ball was going to win. Same thing with the super bowl when Brady came back against Atlanta. They too should’ve gone onside. What’s to lose? So they recover? They still need a TD. If you recover you’re going to score.

Kicking at a player in the second level, if it hits it is a life ball, if not it squibs down the middle of the field unlikely to bounce all the way out of bounds, hits a player clock starts.
