Very few thought we would miss a beat when Clemons went down, either. This was unnecessary and it sucks-we are going to be rotating in every DE we have in the Carolina heat.

I don't get it if it is indeed adderall that they keep getting busted for, why not just get a ******* medial exemption? That way you dont get caught/suspended. C'mon Bruce!

Let's slow down a little with demonizing Irvin. Dumb mistake, sure, but he'll be four games fresher, pass rush isn't a weakness, and it allows us to get an extended look at our new guys right off the bat.

I have a really tough time getting up in arms about Adderall. The suspension is a big hit for the team, sure, but I had a prescription to the stuff in college and I was 160 pounds soaking wet back then. It's a dumb mistake, but it's not like he was suspended for roids or getting arrested for driving 120 miles at 4 in the morning. No reason to call his character into question.

He also just validated those draft experts who questioned taking him high in the draft due to character concerns. He needed to finish his rookie contract with none of these types of issues. I am sure he will rebound but this is disappointing.

To be honest I don't think this is what I had in mind when they said "character concerns." - I was thinking more legal trouble but either way it's disappointing.

The fact that any players are still taking this stuff proves how stupid they are. After the Sherman/Browner fiasco, you're an idiot if you continue to try and sneak by with that stuff. Plain and simple.

I'm sure he accidently shared the same water bottle that Richard Sherman shared....

But on a serious note, just means that Russell Wilson is going to need to score 40 points instead of 20 points. No sweat.
If you didn't know he could do that you would think you're joking but I think that's exactly what we do. We ramp up the offense for that stretch.

Looks like we had a bit of a problem with misusing prescription drugs on this team...hopefully this is the end of it, because it sounds like we were just flat out trying to cheat at this point. Thats too many guys nailed for the same thing to call it a coincidence.

Lol so many people are overreacting.

Dumb mistake but judging from most of your posts I would think this is his 3rd or 4th offense.

Gonna get a custom Hawks jersey with number 12. Last name: "Adderall"
That was good.

As to adderall, it ain't a steroid, it just gives you a bit more mental clarity.
Arguably an assistance that seems to have been necessary in this instance.

The dude tried to get an edge and got caught. I'm disappointed for him, and the rest of the team, and

The "dumbass" talk is so aggravating.

A bunch of over weight, mostly non athletic, generally apathetic, internet junkies (I'm including myself here) want to pass judgment on what it's like for a premiere athlete, performing at a level at his job that most of us will never even know about or understand, yet are somehow secure enough to call him an idiot.

A guy who was probably just trying to live up to expectations this same group placed on him so he could avoid "bust" status, and make those same fan happy and proud.

Obviously, it was a mistake. He made it, he has to live with it, it should end there. Unless of course you have some kind of moral objection to "performance enhancing drugs" in which case, you should stop watching the NFL, and probably ALL sports because this shit is everywhere.

Love the team, love the reputation, love the drug use, love the image. I like them pushing the limits and personally have no issues with PED's. Just Win Baby.

If this team won the super bowl and 10 years from now you found out everyone was on PED's nobody would have a problem with it. Off your soap boxes.
