He also just validated those draft experts who questioned taking him high in the draft due to character concerns. He needed to finish his rookie contract with none of these types of issues. I am sure he will rebound but this is disappointing.

Avril/Bennett signings are now huge. Jordan Hill pick, too.

We'll be fine, but it gives us little leeway in terms of injury depth through the first four games.

This. They knew something was up hence all those DL signings. They'll manage, especially since they could easily just put the team in Wilson's hands and just go pure offense and not miss a beat for the 4 games.

So our run defense doesn't really suffer much and our pass rush relies on Avril and Bennett instead of Irvin, Avril, and Bennett for 4 games.

It's unfortunate, but I don't see this as a massive deal. Next man up.
