Maybe Mathis comes out to explain why he did it, maybe be doesn't, you'll all forget in a week, it gives Florio et al a chance to look stupid as usual for jumping on this like rabid dogs & blame the player for making then look stupid

That's either an unfunny joke tweet from Mathis or he's the biggest idiot in the world. Either way, if his GM isn't on the phone with him now, then he needs to get his stuff together.

If I was a coach/GM I'd be pretty pissed that my players ordered 23 bottles of wine, had over 60 shots of alcohol and drinks.....this is how you stay in football shape ?

It's no wonder OLmen are fatasses if they eat like this. I was a fairly high end athlete in high school, but during football season (any sports season really but I took football more seriously) I wouldn't even go out with the other guys to parties on the weekends, because that crap affected you during the week. And that's just competing against other high school athletes. I can't imagine trying that crap in the NFL.

These guys don't know how blessed they really are to be able to abuse themselves and still be elite.

I'm still stuck at how do you run up a bill of $64,000 at a restaurant. Now, I know that there are places that are overpriced but really...What did he do buy dinner for the whole Eagles team? I wonder if Bryant McKinnie was involved and some lap dances too. I just can't imagine running a bill that high on just food and drinks. Wow!!!

I had my suspicions once I read $37.50 for Asparagus.

That's 3 orders of asparagus at $12.50/order. Most sides at steakhouses like that are in the $10-$15 range so that's not that surprising.

The thing that stuck out for me was the auto-gratuity. Usually auto-gratuity is much more than 3%.

Giving the media the lowest of low-hanging fruit to go on diatribes about is not what any fans want or need.
