Brandon Browner is a scary man. Watch him in the interview with Richard Sherman and Michael Irvin...I would NOT want to piss that man off.

No doubt. He cracked a smile a few times when Sherm said some funny stuff, but otherwise Browner looked as tough and serious as an Easter Island statue. (that's a compliment)

Garson went helmet to helmet on Browner when ET made that pick , so Browner ripped Garson's off !

Dam I loved the no calls in that game !

It was awesome. Good ol' fashion smashmouth football. It was a street fight. I love that the NFL lets our DBs get away with some physical play.

According to the guys here in the local area, Garcon was injured on one of those plays near the end of the game where Browner tossed him around.

Pete Morelli's crew was perfect for this game. I was kind of raging when Wilson had the long run, slid to the ground, and took a pretty hard late shot and didn't get the flag, but looking back at the whole game, it was well worth it. That crew let them play, they didn't throw any ticky tacky personal foul flags and let quite a few go that most other crews would have called.

I'll take a crew like that 100 times out of 100, no matter who we play.

Is there a bigger thug in the NFL than Browner? I don't think there is. And he plays cornerback. That's insane.

IDK if I want one of our players to be the biggest "thug". That implies they are dirty.

And Richie Incognito wins far and away biggest thug award. Not a compliment, IMO.

wasn't there one PI against browner? There was a sack and a recovered fumble I think against the redskins and RG3 was going right and browner and garcon were going at it on the left side. Looked like browner fell down and not even a PI if anything incidental contact due to slipping (their freaking field) and got a flag on that.

then other times beating eachother up and nothing.......

The PI that I remember was that he got beat (slipped) on a double move and took a swipe at Garcon's legs while going down. Definitely a flag and a good one at that. Pretty sure the ball went to the other side of the field but unfortunately if you get beat like that, you gotta take the guy down. Better to get a PI flag than a TD.

His illegal contact happened on Clemmons strip sack.

our corners aren't doing anything the rest of the damn corners in the league aren't doing... we just finally have some toughness here in seattle, and the fans don't know how to react.

Kelly Jennings is available, if you would like him to take Browner's place. He would have nothing to do with this "thug" image you so despise. ;)

We have a team of villains with Mr. Clean (Wilson) to lead them all. Enjoy the show. When was the last time a Seahawks team was known for making their opponents cry? It's been a very long time, and I don't think any of the 80s or 90s defenses were ever this kind of intense.

Chippy play has become our image. This is the team that nobody wants to play.

Yep. It was 1 of the plays where Garcon had no intention of running a route. He went straight at Browner and had a little hands to the face action, Browner tossed him aside like a rag doll and Garcon limped off the field.

Could have sworn that he was grabbing his shoulder/pectoral area.

I get that you didn't mean it, so this is more directed to everyone in the thread.

First of all, the definition of thug:

thug
/THəg/
Noun

A violent person, esp. a criminal.

When I hear thug, I imagine dirty plays after the whistle, AKA Albert Haynesworth stomping on someone till the point that they need stitches. THAT is thuglike.

2. Just because I said our players shouldn't be referenced as thugs doesn't mean I want to bring back Kelly Jennings

3. I prefer the term physical better. We are more physical than thuggish, IMO.
