My god, dudes spent his whole career with the hawks, after picking him 11th overall he's put together a pretty respectable career and been a pretty damn good db and should get the gratitude and respect he deserves. Yeah, he's lost a few steps and is at the end, hope he decides to retire here after he slips his Super Bowl ring on this year. Stop with the Tru hate mail already. If Pete had better options he'd be using them. Every time I open one of these threads he's getting trashed.

People seem to want a shut down nickel slot guy. A guy who can shut down Amendoel-blah-blah and Wes Welker. If those same people would please point out those players who HAVE shut down elite slot receivers I'd like to see.

It is the NFL. No one, not one team, gets to have every position with all pro players. That being said Trufant is ballin' in the slot. We don't have anyone close to his experience and technique in that position. I got two more words for you...

I doubt we'll ever see Thurmond in a Seahawk game again. Pete and John are cold-blooded enough that
they will simply try to work Schneider's mid round magic for a king size corner who doesn't always have a
wheel off.

It being such a copycat league though, everyone will probably be looking for corners who can match up
with those 6' 5" wideouts.

Hope so, because the Rams game sure didn't serve in that capacity. Lane got beat several times.
