Denvers OL is so horrible..7 sacks!
How did our patchwork of a line do?Did it need to be carried?

Wilson doesn't help his O-line look good, either. He got sacked so many times in Seattle in situations where he should have thrown the pass away or checked down. Instead, he would just fall over and take a sack.

It's become a mass psychosis on Seahawks.net.
Psychosis or just reality? He pretty much alienated the fan base past and present the same way he has alienated his teammates past and present. Good things will be said about him and bad things will be said about him… all of it is probably deserved with the content he creates and his recent performances.

Respect is earned, if he was playing at a high level we would respect it.

If he came off genuinely humble without all the smoke and mirrors we would respect it.

Can’t blame us the more Wilson has become transparent with his motivations on and off the field the more his star has dimmed.

Can’t blame us that he got too big for his britches for what made him successful and burned down his own bridges.

Some of us might be enjoying this show that is his decline more than others but I don’t feel the majorly of those people are crossing any type of line in thier fandom.

We definitely are not on the level of hated for Wilson than how Broncos fans are feeling about him right now. And if he’s getting clowned on too hard it’s because he’s embarrassing himself on his own accord… literally every fan base whose team is relative or was tied to Wilson past and present plus FF junkies not just Seahawks fans, not just .net are trashing and clowning on him.

We are fanatics it’s in the name, you’d think it be different? Cmon just look how many of us trash and clown on the players and coaches of the current team for every bad performance.

Again, respect is earned and deserved the fact that very little people are respecting Wilson’s name on a national and non-biased level is his own doing, what we say and how feel about it is just reactionary. And in this day and age there is always going to be people more ruthless than others in what they are willing to say and how they say it. But if he deserved and earns respect, then we would respect his name but it’s not our fault that he lost it and is losing it on his own accord.

from the Broncos board...

It is so completely vindicating to see their fans puzzling over things like this.

Russ the Pyrite. Swindler. Fools Gold. All shine. Far less substance

I have to give the Donks fans creit though. Id say that most already see through the charade and that the problem really is 3. I guess bringing Payton in helps to see that picture a bit more clearly.

Hackett has got to be loving this. Russ's performance may actually be so bad that it gets him sympathy and a future shot at redemtion at the HC position for someone.

If I'm Sean Payton, I'm seriously considering benching Russ today and going with Stidham. Russ missed a lot of open receivers yesterday, especially in the middle. It's the same old Russ.

I would cut bait and go with the backup who can actually run the offense as it's designed, if I was Payton.

Wilson is looking really good. 2 big bombs. Also has 2Td. 5/6 145yrds.

The performance of Wilson's offense after that: Wilson fumble to end a drive on the second play, three-and-out, three-and-out, five-play drive ending in an interception, drive ended by Wilson's fourth sack on third-and-2 (forcing Broncos to settle for a field goal), three-and-out, long drive gets to first-and-goal before Wilson's sixth sack forces the Broncos to settle for a FG again while needing eleven points with less than two minutes left.

5/6 and 145 yards to start. After that and before the final "Hail-Mary" drive, 10/20, a fumble, an interception, and a grand total of 85 passing yards. Yikes.

In the end, he took seven sacks in the game.

Same ol' Russ.

His apologists here said Carroll didn't let him "cook," but when he's allowed to cook, he cooks this:

On the other hand, we had Geno playing behind an OL with two backup tackles, a rookie center, and suffered one sack. Of the two backup tackles, Stone was a 6th round, 208th overall and Jack was an undrafted free agent. ONE SACK.

Of Wilson's 277 net passing yards in the game, 60 came on a single play in the first quarter and 50 came on a "Hail Mary" that would have fallen about five yards short of the end zone, but then bounced off three different players toward the end zone before ending up in Brandon Johnson's hands. 40% of the Broncos' passing offense for the day came on two plays, one right at the beginning of the first quarter and the other a fluky-as-f**k Hail-Mary success at the end of the fourth quarter.

Despite starting 5/6 for 145 yards and a big TD, Wilson ended the day out-quarterbacked by Sam Howell.

Russ blamed Seattles offensive line for his short comings too.
Over half of this site was blaming everything else along with him..
Funny how that went..He took the sacks and late getting the plays off
with him and now Payton is taliking of putting a playsheet on his wrist!
It just keeps getting better and better for that 3rd pick.

i think he's more skilled than lucky. But his skill was surviving long enough through grit and talent for a defender to make a mistake.

He will always be feast or famine. You need a 50 yard bomb? call him. When he was younger, if you needed a guy to create magic on his own? call him

but to run an offense outside those conditions? look at his overall stats, and then look at hs stats between his last TD and second to last TD.

Abysmal

Fumble, pick, missed completions. confusion.
I meant he has fluke luck that happens..There was no skill on that hail mary
it got shoved over to EZ by a dumb defender who did not just bat it..
Remember "Fail Mary"?Golden makes that happen but it was fluke luck for Me3
that it happens so he looks good..
