At least he hasn't become Favre yet, where he's setting ignominious records such as QB fumbles. His subpar play is mostly obnoxious because of the supermodel ex-wife that he's no longer sleeping with. Hopefully he'll bow out if he regresses further.

I wouldn’t count on it. 9ers didn’t want Brady when he left the Patriots certainly not 3 years later. IMO it’s just a made up sports media story to generate click’s

The season before Brady went from NE to TB he looked like he was done. Also this was post 2019 Superbowl run for the 49ers and to move away from Garoppolo at that time would have been much riskier as the 49ers had just had their best season since Jim Harbaugh.

I could see the 49ers being interested but I just think he will retire

He's been the best player on an otherwise abysmal offense. Is he showing signs of age? Yeah, but he's not Aaron Rodgers-ing it out there. His receivers can't catch and his interior OL is bad. Oh, and Brady throwing is basically 99.9% of their offense. They have zero run game.

Perhaps a Brady of five years ago basically carries this offense on his back, but Tampa has bigger issues than #12. That said, I still think Tom should consider retiring (again) rather than trying to start over on a new team.
