It's unlike you, but you have rose-colored glasses on here. One of the reasons the 49ers had a bad season last year was because of the injuries. It seems to me that the best hope of a return to winning is to get those players back. But if instead of getting those players back, you lose them
Other important injuries-Trent Williams , cmc, and aiyuk are coming back. Given the 49ers schedule next year I will be greatly surprised if they do not have a winning record next year

Trent Williams is getting old and will continue to decline and struggle to stay healthy. CMC is no spring chicken and Shanny ran him til the wheels came off, don't expect him to ever be the same. Yuk may very well leave too but even if he stays he is a bitch, he doesn't scare anyone.

Major Ram envy. They got it all. Top to bottom. Not sarcasm unfortunately.
We were saying the same thing about LA a few years ago.

With that in mind, I doubt the Niners are pushovers..,for years to come.

Yes, both the 49ers and Rams are solid from an organization standpoint, and both have top notch coaches, so I expect they will continue to be competitive. That's why I like the idea of the 49ers encountering a lot of turmoil and obstacles. I hate how they have both out-drafted us for years now.

The 9ers took a big hit in FA losses and they also lost their capable #2 QB in Joshua Dobbs to the Patriots. SF will now be another team for QB competition in the draft.
If JS & Kubiak identify a QB they really like, they would be well served to take him a round early verses later.
John got lucky RW lasted until the 3rd when he wanted to take him in the 2nd.
It would suck to have Lynch or anyone undercut us and take our guy as their draft slating is before us.
If a QB rises up the board in this weak class, there will be competition to get him.
49ers not likely to draft a QB. I would think they would sign a back up veteran. They have a project UFA rookie last year in Tanner Modercai

As of this moment, the 49ers and Seahawks are #1 & #2 in dead cap write offs for 2025.

Nice see this being addressed this year. Silver lining.
