Key words, Last Year. He's struggled this year. 8 Tackles, 1 Sack in 7 games :p
As opposed to Chub, who has played one full season in his career? And has 26 career sacks.

Chubb had some injury history but is having a career year? How about Barton plus a 3nd round for Chubb? Barton is that misused special team star with unlimited upside, and for old time's sack, I will up the offer, Bronco could have their own 2nd pick back.

Keep in mind that if we want to keep Geno he needs to be paid so paying Chubb as well may not be in the cards. I'd pass on Chubb. Too many injuries and too little production after his rookie year.

Yes, but at least part of that difference is that last year, he was on a line with another player (Mack) who was getting double-teamed a lot, leaving Quinn free to embarrass the poor offensive lineman assigned to take on Quinn one-on-one. This year, without Mack, it's Quinn who's been double-teamed.

Chubb isn't the only Bronco that is rumored to be on the trading block should the Donkeys lose this Sunday. WR's Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler, the guy that slammed his helmet into the turf when Russell didn't throw to him on the last play in OT vs the Colts, and TE Albert Okwuegbunam are all rumored to be traded before the Tuesday deadline.

The other thing that could happen if the Broncos lose to the Jags is that Hackett could get the axe. The Broncos will be going into a bye week, so it would give the interim coach a few extra days to get his feet on the ground should they pull the trigger on Hackett next week.

If they know they're going to fire him, it's better to do it sooner than later so as not to further poison the locker room. After the Raiders fired Gruden last year, the team seemed to rally around their interim coach.

Any or all of those events, should they happen, would be music to Seahawk fans ears as it would be an indication that the Broncos have thrown in the towel on this season, increasing the chances of a top 5 pick in next year's draft.
