I believe this move is more correlated to the issue of converting short yardage. They struggled with that on Sunday and have had that issue throughout this season. Hopefully Scarbrough can improve that area.

To me this seemingly indicates Carson is hurt worse than the team is letting on and they have little confidence in the others.

Perhaps it's long term insurance as last season adding Turbin late marked a genuine low. Thought they might add a DB like Ballantine or a DE like Tak but it's early still.

I liked Scarborough when he was here the last time. I'm anxious to see him play.

Recognized the name and that is about it. Pretty young at 24. With how often our running backs get injured, it is good to have a little bit of depth. I certainly hope Carson and Hyde are back this Sunday. Think I heard Carson is further along than Hyde.

Perhaps you meant Homer? Collins looked decent in limited action on Sunday.

Homer has been the issue when running between the tackles (though he has had some luck on screens and passes out of the backfield....and has been quite adept at picking up blitzes in passing situations)

I liked Scarborough in college as a potential Seahawk. I liked him in his limited time here. Was sorry to see him go. Happy they picked him up. I seriously think he can be a good contributor. To me, he seems like one of those guys that gets bounced around a bit and then finds a home and everyone wonders why he didn't stick elsewhere.
