He was my choice over Penix this past year. Very smart qb.

Dont discount the difference SP is making in calling a balanced game and managing play selection to ease the burden on the dude.

Dont like SP at all but he is one helluva coach.
I like them both, but Penix is clearly superior.

Yep, I remember you were all over Nix last draft season. You kept saying we should trade up with the Bears to get him. I think pretty much everybody (including me) shrugged off Nix going that high and/or having real success.
incorrect. more than a few people liked him here. I nailed all my QB predictions except Jaden Daniels. Totally wrong. I'm still worried about his ability to stay healthy. Might still be proved wrong about JJ Mcarthy.

Was anyone else besides me surprised that Payton didn't go for two at the end of regulation?

What your take on Odunze? I have him in fantasy in a keeper league. Many fans think he's overrated?
I don’t have any problem with Odunze as a player, but Bears would have been better to trade down with the Seahawks and end up with two of the four offensive linemen desperately needed.

He'd look like crap here. We would've damaged him with this "structure."

Quarterbacks are nurture over nature. Sean Payton knows that. Andy Reid knows that. Pete Carroll knew that here.

Yeah that was noticeable in the Thursday game. We dominated their offensive line
Jake Curhan was horrible in that game. He was cut in training camp and should have stayed that way. No wonder Seahawks got rid of him or that Poles brought him to Chicago. Poles specializes in bringing in cast-off OL like Curhan, Nate Davis, Leatherwood, Bates, … list goes on ad on.

I think they're both gonna' be damn good. Actually, Bo has been better than I expected. While I hate the Ducks, he seems like a good kid.
They both need to improve on the long ball, too many overthrows. The thing about Penix that always stands out is how clutch he is in huge moments. I wasn't surprised on bit when he threw that 4th and goal TD. That's what he does. He also almost ALWAYS comes back with a beautiful throw right after overthrowing someone. He did it on a regular basis at UW.
