I disagree. Let him in, but make sure that all the dirt on him is exposed in big, bold letters, including his arrest at a rub-and-tug. Let everyone know that these people are not Gods that should be worshiped, and that like a lot of us, are people with very human flaws.
This all plays back to my attitude of refusing to wear jerseys with someone else's name/number on it. No matter how good and decent these players are, I'm not going to idolize them or worship them as if they were some sort of deity.
