I think he single-handedly prevented a Cards comeback. What a beast today. Too bad the offense couldn't reward him after that insane series he had.

It took half the season, but players (and fans) are starting to see what a Macdonald styled defense is going to look like. They are really taking on his personality and it will pay big dividends in future years. Can't wait to enjoy the ride.

Honestly I think it’s really as simple of replacing Dodson with Jones IV. He understands what Macdonald wants on the field and he’s making sure it translates every play.

I know this sounds far fetched but being Jones was with the titans, I wonder if the joint training camp kinda help speed Jones along in someway? Poor wording Idk.. best explanation/example I can give is on the opposite side on offense when Seattle played its first game vs Russ and Lockett told our boys Russ is calling this or that

Williams was possessed with the spirits of Mebane, Bryant, Bennett and Avril all at the same time.
He was unstoppable.
I think he is a HUGE part of this team finding itself . And Jones, along with Love and Spoon on the back end create the leadership that's been missing for years.

It was a great trade when they got him. And it was a great extension he was given. He's flat out playing up to that contract. Nice to see. He's a fricken beast.

We talk about the spine of a defense and how it's important, it's also something Seattle has struggled with for a number of years
They have some proven NFL guys in that area now that play with a good attitude and are relatively young
Williams is 30. Jones IV is 25. Love is 26.
That's a better position than where we've been in a while.
Murphy should continue to emerge, Bryant is settling in and Spoon is a complete baller.
That is a pretty solid defensive middle and it should be sustainable if they extend Jones.
