Aged like milk, as expected.
Is this a gotcha? I even gave Pete props as he is great for a young QB so kind of weird you use this the way you’re using it. But it’s expected.

Any thoughts on how he does in Oakland?

It's Pete Carroll. He will get them to the playoffs at least one time. Not saying they will win a playoff game, but I will say he can get them there.

I still don’t understand why you think I was hammering him but it wouldn’t shock me either. It’s a tough situation with a bad QB room but he probably already has a plan

He's one of what 5 or 6 coaches in the history of football that won both the Super Bowl and a National Championship. People can gripe about the end of his tenure here all they want, Pete knows how to win.

I just hope it’s not him going out on a bad note because people will pile on and it shouldn’t change his legacy either way.

I think the criticism near the end was fair, people may disagree but it was fair to question if we should do something else. This is Pete’s chance to prove people wrong that he didn’t get outdated.

It was totally fair in my opinion,

Criticism of PC was definitely fair in the latter stages of his run with the Hawks. We all knew what those issues were...

--Poor choices of coaches under him and too much loyalty to some of them
--A defense that couldn't get off the field for years post LOB
--His inability to establish the kind of identity he wanted for the team post LOB
--Overpaying for middling talent and patchwork FA's
--Overestimating the talent on the team in terms of being championship caliber
--The Jamal Adams trade (had to throw that in there...LOL)

Some of these things had to do with him being the de facto final say in personnel decisions. But it all resulted in us being stuck in that place of being playoff contenders, but not a serious championship caliber team.
