It's been a couple of days now and I've had time to settle down. I believe in Macdonald. I believe we will get this figured out and ge it right. At some point we'll come out and just punch the other team right square in the mouth. We have to much talent on this team. When we go to Santa Clara in a few weeks, you'll have our ears pinned back and we'll be swinging and swinging hard. We'll get this thing right at some point.

Agreed but it might get worse before it gets better. If he is saying stuff like "I'd cut you right now if it weren't for the guaranteed money" then he still doesn't have his guys. If there is a ton of movement in the off season, then we know his platitudes about having the guys are just that.

I agree, it will get worse before it gets better MM knows he only has a few pieces. Next year the defense will start to show his scheme. Maybe towards the end of the year we will see it take off. Hopefully we can win just enough games to get into the tournament.

I think we can get some guys that will help for cheap Clowny can be had for a 6th or 5th. Jacksonville has a guard that they would be willing to move from what I've heard for like a 4th or 5th. Those are just a couple off the top of my head that would possibly be worth a try.

Of course he doesn't have his guys. Not only is the overall talent abysmal, most of it is completely different from what his system requires. Compare the players he had in BAL to what he has here. He's having a hard time adjusting but I think it'll look a lot better by the end of the season.

After 3 games when everybody was high on really good drugs and a '#1' defense, I figured we'd end up around 16th to end the year, and I'd be ecstatic if that happened after being in the 30s the past few years. I still think we'll end up around 16th-20th.

Expectations around here seem unrealistic to me.
