Is the poster assuming that the Astros have graduated to hacking the pitchcom system? Plausible, I guess.

Whatever it was, it sure looks like Altuve was fully expecting the pitch to be hittable -- was committed to swinging no matter what. The look by Ohtani in Altuve's direction after striking him out was... interesting, to say the least.

I mean lets not act like the Pitch com is some miracle brand new technology.. Literally the easiest piece of hardware to intercept if someone really wanted to

Uses radio frequency 918.23 mhz.. and anyone claiming to have a radio signal "fully encrypted" is taking everyone for a ride

Its nine buttons, unless the FCC and the creator can explain if its rolling encryption .. it would be the easiest thing to hack on the face of the planet. And, even with rolling encryption still.. very easy in 2026

The FCC has a large write up on it actually, and its kind of comical the claims they make, but we already grasp how intelligent they are

I'll go ahead and pass on Julio bashing. That got old a long time ago. And got me in hot water trying to stick up for the guy.
