This honestly can't be going much better for the Hawks. Also, seems like a win for both teams.

Got to imagine the Cardinals trade down from 3 to someone like Tennessee. They have so many holes on that roster.

Win win for us

Just saw the compensation too, dayum. FLEECING by the Bears.

Bears get:

PICK #9
PICK #61
2024 1ST ROUNDER
2025 2ND ROUNDER
WR D.J. MOORE
Carolina gets the best QB in the draft by a longshot. Hardly a fleecing, but a great day for the Bears organization.

Doesn't mean much for us yet, but maybe it'll motivate someone to trade up with Arizona for a QB. Really, really want Anderson to somehow fall to five. Freakin' Niners had to somehow lose to the Broncos in week 3.

Nah, that is a fleecing to only move down 8 spots. Nicely done, Chicago.
2 1st rounders, 2 2nd rounders and a solid WR? Robbery

My opinion, and I stick to it.

everybody saying this was a great move by the bears... not so fast.

if fields busts and if stroud or one of the other QBs become great, then this is potentially a cataclysmic move by the bears.
If he busts and the Bears stink this coming season then they'll pick high next year in what's likely an even better QB draft class

WAY too much to pass up to only move down 8 spots. Bears should be investigated for Robbery. I have a lot of relatives out in Chicago, should be some good conversations over this trade. LOVE this time of year. And it's just getting started.

Also, Stroud could end up not being nearly as good as everyone is saying. The draft is and always will be a crap shoot.
I suspect he will be damn good, but nothing is guaranteed in the NFL.

My first thought was that the Bears could have got more. But then again, I was mentally comparing it to what we got for RW. This makes our deal seem like even more of a fleecing.

It's not a win for Seattle. We need teams to trade with Seattle and give up picks.

It’s a good haul, but not epic.

At #9 your clearly into the 2nd tier talent wise for this draft. Carolina is a solid team so that ‘24 R1 is likely to be a late pick.

Makes sense for Chicago who needs a serious talent infusion and is not in a spot to give up on Fields yet.
