No, more like if 49er fans stopped trolling here, this wouldn't be an eight-page thread.

I don't care about the second-place team in the NFCW. All I care about is the Seahawks.

Yes you do, because that team is playing solid right now and is getting healthy. Also, that same team won the division the past two years. If you didn't care, you wouldn't have stopped by this thread and posted.

Just like 49ers fans care because the Seahawks have a team that is playing great this season and is the prime competition for the division. If we didn't care, than we wouldn't be here to message with you guys.

Your offense is looking anemic right now, kind of how the 49ers offense was the few weeks after the Green Bay game. You will use your run game again (how did Lynch have so few carries this week?) and we will be stronger. Personally, I just want both teams healthy running on all cylinders when our game in SF arrives so there will be no excuses no matter who the victor/loser is.

Why are you on this message board trying to prove how much we care about your team?

If you would stop posting about them, I would stop getting irritated at seeing Niner fans trolling and Seahawk fans that can't handle success posting about them here all the time. Instead, I troll you people for showing up and putting garbage all over our Seahawks message board about a second-rate football team that we already beat once.

The toughest opponent they've had in the last 5 games was Arizona, and that game was played in San Francisco. I'm sure their DVOA went up today, but going into this game it was only +16% for the season, tied with the Carolina Panthers. Seattle is at +34%, second in the NFL.

I've thought all along that SF was a 12-4 team, but only because of their schedule. I think they get beat handily in New Orleans, and I think Seattle kicks their butts in the rematch as well. They'll win all the rest of their games. They are masters of beating bad teams, but have looked very beatable against top competition. In a lot of ways, they remind me of the 2012 Texans. Still have to respect them because of the schedule inequality and because they are more consistent week to week than Seattle is, but Seattle is a better team, and it's not even that close right now.

Well if SF sucks so bad who have you beaten? Seems to me the only team Seattle has beaten with a winning record is SF, who apparently sucks but only has a good record because they play crappy teams.

Bro, I mean c'mon... seriously... honestly... duuuuuuuuuuude....

Seahawks beat:

0-0 Panthers team @ Carolina in a 10 a.m. start in 90+ heat and humidity. Say what you want about only scoring 12 points but the Panther's D is top 5 in the NFL. Not only do they have a killer front 7 but statistically they have one of the best secondaries this year.

1-0 49ers team @ Seattle on SNF. This was supposed to be payback for 42-13 but the 49ers lost 29-3 and the Seahawks left points on the board running the clock out in scoring position.

0-3 Jaguars team @ Seattle. Not much to say but this could have been a bigger blow out had Wilson not gave the Jaguars an easy 7 points off a turnover. After that play, Seahawks pretty much benched half their starters.

2-1 Texans team @ Houston in a 10 am start in 95 degrees of heat and humidity. Seahawks were without 4/6th of their best players on the O-line. Seahawks let the game get away from them in the 2nd QTR but held the Texans in check with goose eggs. Texans were also playing their best ball trying to bounce back off a thrashing they took in Baltimore. But with a little luck and a little skill plus a lot of moxie Seahawks overcame adversity and won a game they probably should have lost.

3-2 Titans team @ Seattle. This game is much closer than it looks because a 10 swing off a fumble from the backup holder. That doesn't happen every day... without it Seahawks win comfortably at 23-6.

3-3 Cardinals team @ Arizona. University of Phoenix as always been bugaboo for the Seahawks. A tough place to win. It didn't help it was also a Thursday night game sandwhiched as the 3rd road game of 4 total during a 5week span. Seahawks handled business and if it weren't for a couple of Wilson fumbles that gave the Cards access to 10 easy points... this game isn't close.

Seahawks lost:

to a 3-1 Colts team @ Indy. Another 10 am start, 2nd in a row. 2nd straight week without 4/6th of the O-line. And the Seahawks controlled much of this game and beat themselves with mental mistakes more than the Colts dominated the Seahawks. Cuz that didn't happen and the Colts also got tremendous help from the Refs that helped put them in lead. Like the Houston game but opposite, Seahawks gave away a game they should have won. Yet this lost still showed the Seahawks are capable of playing on the road vs a quality team and still be able to compete despite shooting themselves in the foot and getting jobbed by the refs on blatant occasions. Seahawks lost this game by 6. What happened to the 49ers in San Fran vs the Colts? Wasn't it like 27-7.

The 49ers loss differential in this season alone at 46 points is still more than the total differential of Seahawks losses dating back to the 2nd half of 2011. During that period, Seahawks lost 10 times by a total of only 43 points. Remember, this is a Seahawks team that is and was inexperienced, young, and relying on significant contributions by its youth compared to the 49ers teams.

In 2013, Seahawks aren't just getting scrub teams as the Seahawks only played 1 team that had a losing record at the time we played them. Most teams in the NFL wouldn't be 6-1 right now facing our schedule the way it was laid out plus our injury situation that took an average O-line and made it exceptionally worse. However, the fact still remains that most teams have had it "easier" in terms of schedule/injuries and yet aren't sitting at 6-1 on top of the NFC.
Okay good points man, well written. I was thinking only of the records of the teams beaten as they are today, not at the time of the games.

Hes angry cause his QB got sacked 7 times last night cause their O-line looked like they were made of rice paper, their punter had as many touches as Marshawn Lynch, the team almost got waxed by a sub-par Rams team and now realizes that anything can happen, not to mention they lost one of their better players for the season.

What is there not to be angry about?

However, the fact still remains that most teams have had it "easier" in terms of schedule/injuries and yet aren't sitting at 6-1 on top of the NFC.

1) Carolina Game: Heat affects both teams. Dont use the "90 degree weather in carolina" as an excuse. And no they are NOT a top 5 defense. Top 10? Maybe. But theres only 32 teams in the NFL. Having a top ten defense is like getting a B on your exam. No one cares about B's.

2) SF Game: We got rocked, raped and thrown around like rag dolls. Disgusting, but thats pretty much what happened.

3)Jax Game: Joke team.

4)Houstan Game: Scaub. Nuff said.

5) Ind Game: You guys played very tough, however this colts team just appears to figure out how to win big games. Nothing else to say.

6) The titans game was actually very close. What also "doesnt happen everyday" is a titan defender trying to scoop a fumble near the endzone, but instead passing it BACK to your QB. Titans could've had that game. It WAS actually "alot closer than it looked".

7) Dominated the cards.

8) A dissapointing win to say the least. We all know about the bevell aka fckboy and oline and why lynch wasnt getting his carries. What kinda flew under the radar (and I laugh when in the beginning of the game they talked about red bryant being so dominant as a run defender) was how the rams looked like they were an established running team. If legatron didnt miss that FG, this game COULD've had a different outcome. It would've been 14-12. Maybe, just maybe, they couldve went down the field like they did and kick a game winning FG.

But hell, what do I know? I just keep it real. Your team is built tough, and I may be the first to say this, but i think the seahawks AND 49ers are NOT championship teams(atleast from what Ive seen from the first half of the season). Theres just too many flaws being covered up by the solid play of our defenses. Our offenses just dont have a scheme, dont have an identity. Theres no presence on the field besides having RB's that plow people over. But when that doesnt work, then what? Even when I watch the saints, I get the sense of something they are accomplishing. When I watch my 49ers, kaep is just garbage. Russell is better, but the talent around him is worse.

I'm not angry. I'm just saying that your posts are terrible, and you posting here about the 49ers, then acting like responses prove anything other than that you are really desperate for attention about your mediocre little football team, is weird and pointless.

Yeah you are, but since you have such negative feelings from 49ers fans posting here, I'll no longer directly responding to anything you post.

And 49er fans will get all excited until they realize that Fisher's Rams did this same exact thing to our offensive line in week 17 last season when Okung and Breno were playing. Six sacks in that game for them, and Russ was pressured all game. That came the week after Seattle embarrassed the 49ers. The Rams defense overall plays better against zone blocking schemes like Seattle's. It's a matchup problem for us. We don't have that same problem against SF.

The same line that played in last night's game looked serviceable in the three games prior to that, and will continue to look serviceable against lesser defensive lines.

I think it's legit for Niner fans to take something away from us sucking hard against the Rams. Maybe we don't match up well against the Rams, but they are the Rams for crying out loud with a backup QB.

And they sucked even harder against the Rams last season. Didn't stop them.

Let them get their dicks hard while they can. They'll be looking up at Seattle in the #1 seed after this season's over.

9ers fans must have a short memory and have forgotten how they played against the Rams last year. That same whiners team made the Super Bowl... so I don't see this game as being as big of an indicator of "who we are" as they think. Unless they think we're going to the Superb Owl, that is.

This is the part that cracks me up. If you go read the webzone to them this is absolute proof we are pretenders and have just been getting lucky. It's pretty funny that they have completely forgot they couldn't beat the same team last year in two tries home or away and yet still made it to lose in the super bowl.

I think we got cocky and 10 days rest helped us become complacent. We performed the cardinal sin of over looking a team and it damn near bit us in the but. Fortunately though unlike the Niners we still left with a big fat W.

This game will come in handy in several ways. It reinforces that we can win any game. It reinforces that winning is expected but not taken for granted and it will come in handy later in the season when we are traveling to Atlanta and NY to play teams that are still capable of putting a beating on us if we overlook them.

This was an ugly game with an ugly win but it was still a win and that is what champion caliber teams are supposed to do. Even in the worst case scenario you find a way to win and that is what we did.

I am concerned that if the Offense keeps punting and putting the D on the field, we are going to wear down defensively. This happened to SF last year after the Patriots game and their defense towards the end of the year was swiss cheese (coupled with the fact they lost Smith and yes I know he played but he was far from 100%). What mystifies me is that we didn't follow their blueprint for beating the Rams. They were willing to punt a few series to deliver body blows and it paid off. We came out with a spread offense and I think we made the same mistake as their team. It was deja vu. In fact their was an article today about our receivers saying we need to start running the ball again. Percy Harvin needs to compliment his talents AROUND a run first offense. The Niners season will be judged the next three weeks. One of their posters said that the Panthers are not a top five defense but they are number 2 and I am talking about yards/game. They play the Panthers, Saints and then fly across the country for monday night football against the Redskins. We played our gauntlet part of schedule and now we will see how they do. If they can beat a physical team like the Panthers and have the Stamina to go to NO and get a win I will be very impressed and it will probably come down to Dec.8.

Not trying to rain on your parade at all, but I think it's more like the rams found a way to lose, rather then the seahawks found a way to win. The play-calling at the end was just horrible, it reminded me of our last drive in the superbowl. They would of had a better chance of running the ball when they got up to the 5 yard line, when they actually did run the ball it was the most predictable run ever. Then to top it off on fourth down they throw it right to one of the best CBs in the league with a shaky back-up QB. I gotta say, you guys dodged a bullet there when bradford tore his ACL last week. He has always played good against the division and he would have probably won that game there.
