Man I love this love! Macdonald had to go out and get his linebacker in Baltimore so maybe he’s recreating something similar here. That defense took off once he had Smith along with Queen.

A 4th rounder? Smash move for me
Agreed! At only 24 yrs old if he performs well the question is resigning him. His asking price had the Rams and now the Titans trading him. But for this year? I LOVE this trade for sure.

They DESPERATELY need help at LB. This is a great move that could pay big dividends. Think of the difference in the D with Murphy in there. Hoping EJ can have similar impact at the LB level.

Hopefully he will be able to pick things up fairly quickly because they will definitely need him against the Bills run game.

Would be nice not to be ran all over. Last week was an improvement but Atlanta still put up good yards on us

An upgrade? Esrest Jones is better at run defense. But a 4th, isn't that pricey?

I don't know much about Baker but a play against the Giants stood out to me with a lack of effort tackling. Sounds like a nice upgrade.

read a report similar but it added the seahawks really want to add him long term. sorry i can't add that post, i already forgot where i read it from. i liked baker but jones is younger and better so this is a great move if we add him long term

If he's that good, he's gonna want a huge contract. But even if the Seahawks don't re-sign him they should get a 4th or 5th rd comp pick back. Losing a tiny bit of draft position for a decent ILB, who may become a longer-term answer, sounds like a good trade.

After looking into it a bit more, it looks like the titans acquired him for a swap of a 5th for a 6th rounder in 2026 and we gave up a 4th and a player. Looks like that worked out well for them. They basically get Baker and a 4th and a 6th for a 5th. Profiteering at its finest.

We have an additional 4th comp pick from...someone, I think.

Brock likes the move.

We signed Leonard Williams out over the contract edge but it turned out okay because JS managed to keep him around. We do need to see if Jones' run defense can maintain itself now that he's no longer playing behind Aaron Donald.
