Weird conference this year -- the below matches my thoughts exactly; we already know, and have had a pretty good feeling for weeks now, that the SB will be decisively won by an NFC team:

Bills are probably the favorite - despite their defensive woes. Allen can just will that team to wins.

I think the Patriots are for real - but their QB is probably too inexperienced/young to make a deep playoff run this year. But they are going to be a problem going forward.

Agree that the Broncos are untrustworthy and will most likely get smoked by a good team the first time they play one. Bo Nix is NOT him.

Chargers are the Chargers and will charger at anytime.

Texans offense is abysmal.

I think Houston is going to take it. That defense is stifling, and the offense does enough. Denver is kind of the same story, but I think Nix is more likely to falter than Stroud.

It sure makes our win over the Texans look a lot more impressive. That team is legit and plays with a ton of heart.

Yep, Agree., in fact they would be a scary SB team to face, especially if Stroud really starts to heat up.

That post sounds incredibly biased. NFC does look better though, granted the AFC Champion only needs to win one game to take the championship over the NFC, and it's not like the Eagles, Packers, Rams, Seahawks, etc aren't vulnerable to one poor outing.

Probably comes down to how long Josh Allen can mask everything that's wrong with the Bills. Broncos look like the most well-balanced. Amazing how fast they bounced back from the Me3 disaster. The Texans have an insane defense, but I don't trust their OL enough to allow the offense to keep up in a playoff run.

Right now, I'd personally rank the Bills and Texans as my favorites for the AFC. I know that runs contrary to records and perhaps the conventional wisdom. But if the playoffs start without Burrow, Mahomes, or Lamar, then Josh is "The Man" in the AFC. And Houston has the top D in the AFC, and if they can get any kind of decent offense going, I think they could take down anyone in the AFC now, and Stroud has got skills.

Denver is pretty good. Amazing oline that is mostly healthy. I wouldn't bet against them.

Think right now I got Bills Rams. Bills lose their 5th super bowl. I think teams like NE and Denver are a year away. They gotta let Allen into one super bowl and they got a new stadium.
