If I was the Texans, I would be calling Minnesota to see how many #1 picks they want for AP

Man, this guy is snake bit.
Injured groin in practice, needs surgery and likely to miss 1/2 season.

Possible place for Ray Rice?
Dayum.:(

I'd take the risk if I were the Texans. No way in hell those quarterbacks have a chance without at least a slightly above average running game.

I heard that they're bringing in Pierre Thomas to kick the tires. This is an interesting problem from a football AND fantasy view. Alfred Blue is presently the #2 HB on the depth chart and if they're trying out Pierre they must not have much faith in Blue to be the focus of their run game. Also on the team is UW alum Chris Polk who looked decent when he was with the Eagles in limited action.

with their luck they should get as many guys as they can
You know how much js and pc like picks and that's a sweet spot for
It'd allow us to carry an extra receiver or keep rawls

Christine Michaels to the Texans?

My first thought, could make sense. Doubt we get more than a 4th for him though, even if he lights up preseason.

Is it wrong that my disappointment in him has me thinking we'd be happy with a 6th or 7th?

Blue wasn't very good last year and they need a bell cow. Michael is a good option as mentioned but they might be more interested in a 1 year Turbin rental.

I'd think the Texans would be more interested in fresh legs than they would be in a guy that just came off hip surgery.

If we could get a 5 if take it. A 5th that could turn into a 4th I'd jump all over it.

A fair point, but Turbin has proven that he can run at an NFL level, and, more importantly, he's both a better pass blocker and a better pass-catcher than Michael. It really depends on how much they're willing to gamble. Turbin is safer, but Michael could yield higher rewards. (This is probably all a moot argument in the actual sense of the word, at any rate. The Texans are going to dumpster dive because they don't have much hope this year anyway.)

Turbin is like a safety blanket in a sense of he's come a ways knows the system and can fill in for lynch pretty well.
CMike.. Well how long have we had him and he's still learning our system? As well and he's still fumbling? I like what Rawls has, I'd say if you can get a 5th or 6th for CMike ship him off and continue with Rawls. Rawls so far from all the praises he looks to keep getting it sounds like he very well have beaten CMike for a spot. PreSeason games will tell if either one lasts that long.

I'd rather (in this hypothetical) trade C-mike and keep Turbin. I feel Turbin is a better back for our system and has proven himself lately.

C-mike , Bennett and our next 3 1st round picks for JJW :{)

I know we don't have the $$ but it's a nice dream.

That would be epic and well worth the trade IMO.

They could trade CMike, Irvin and Bennett for Watt and then sign Aldon Smith off the street. I think Aldon gets off without the help of the niners this time, but if not, trade CMike, KJ and Bennett for Watt and sign Aldon when Irvin leaves. KJ's replacement sounds like he is close to being ready.
