Are we good enough to complain about power rankings again?

What a different thread this would be if they ranked us #1. LOL.

Many people are saying they couldn't care less where "they" rank us. And that such rankings have zero impact on the team's winning or losing. I'm not so sure about that. At least not when it comes to winning in free agency.
Players are people and they're people used to winning and being held in high regard. I doubt many of them appreciate a lower ranking than what their performance warrants. Not many of us would, if any of us, no matter our chosen professions.

Neutral field I say we beat Houston 7 x out of 10. So I get where the OP is coming from.

I don't really recall ever thinking about it from that perspective.

13 is cool for now. It's just power rankings.. They made these to just strum up site visits don't take them as absolutes.... And if the seahawks players & coaches take offence to these things, good it just gives them another chip on their shoulders...

The Arizona wins are definitely quality given the improved state of that team, but they're still Arizona. If Seattle beats Green Bay in prime time, that's the kind of signature victory that really puts this team on the national radar (even though Green Bay is only 1-4 against winning teams). People will be talking about the Seattle-Minnesota game all week.

I agree with you. Until that plays out there is one glaring item that has the Hawks below not-so-better teams…

Our team lost to the Giants!

I'd have us around 10-12, better than the Broncos, of whom we've beaten, the Commanders, and the Texans, so yeah, ESPN's rankings are a bit lower than where I'd put us.

But I don't get my briefs in a wad over little slights like those to a point where I'll complain about them. Besides, I'd rather we fly under the radar and sneak up on teams. Media disrespect could be locker room bulletin board material, piss off our players and cause them to go out there with something to prove.
