I'll be excited when all of the 49ers threads disappear until our Dec matchup. :229031_shrug: Too much about them here lately.

This.

I'm hoping the 49ers win. Because if they lose I know there will be 10 more threads in the NFL forum about them and 10 more in the shack about them.

.Net is more obsessed with the 49ers then they are with the Seahawks.

I think what happened is that a lot of regular Niners trolls posted a lot of smack here in the offseason, and now everyone makes rude threads about them when they lose, just knowing that those selfsame trolls are lurking here and reading.

Also, we have never had a rival this big in the message board era. The Rams were kinda getting there around '04, but they fell off.

Worst thing you can do is let em know they're not on your level, so why pay em mind?

Oh, I agree. I have seen how Steeler and Raven fans treat one another after winning a Super Bowl. They get so dismissive of one another, it's hilarious.

how do you not like two divisional foes beating the crap out of each other? How do you not love the drama of a potential nuclear meltdown of SF if they lose tonight?
49er's webzone will be chock full of bandwaggoner 20 something's wailing an gnashing their teeth. Makes me giddy. Either way one group of irritating fans will be sad. Love it.

I'm excited to see a division rival go 1-3. Don't really care who it is...but a 9ers loss would be entertaining on here and FB

Can't wait for the game, either way a division foe falls that much further back, personally i hope it's the niners. i see them as the bigger threat this season, also reading their game day threads after losses is good medicine for whatever ails you.

I have no time for this rigmarole.

The Rams are going to win because they throw it a million times a game hoping someone will catch it, and SF has a terrible defense.

That's the recipe for a good shellacking.

"Excited" isn't the right word but I will watch. I hope they both suck.

This. I hope there are a dozen turnovers in this game and each defense scores the only points.

I admit it, I hate the 9'ers and enjoy their misfortunes. I'm hoping for the 9'ers to get beat down and for Jimmy Harbaugh to have a nervous breakdown right on the sideline. I want to see Kap exposed as the overrated one trick pony we all know he is. It will make me smile. Probably because i'm a terrible person. <shrug>.

So I'm not saying "Go Rams" as much as i'm saying "Fail 9'ers". if there was a way for both teams to lose by 40, I'd want that to happen.

No! Jared Cook needs 80 yards and two TDs!

Very excited. I was going to take the day off, but decided to make the rounds this morning instead so I could torment the many 9er fans I am exposed to on a daily basis. Collectively, I would say their confidence is about a 3 on a scale of 1-10.

A couple had the audacity to exclaim "we'll win the NFCW...just watch". Problem was, they had nothing to support that. They refuse to understand that Harbaugh has turned their power football team into something more resembling a finesse team. Finesse teams win too, but not with the offensive personal the 9ers put on the field. Too slow, too predictable. Harbaugh should consider fake punts, fake field goals, triple reverses and lining Kaep up as a wide out. There you go 9er fans. What could be more exciting? ; )

I like watching divisional games, especially if it's on a Thursday. I can come home after practice and the gym, get dinner ready and chill with a relevant game. Go Rams!

Agreed!

So let's see:

A Smith - out
P Willis - out
Starting NT - out
Ah Sum WA - out (didn't feel like googling the spelling of his name)
VD - coming off injury
Cully - out

So?

Who covers Austin? Brown
Who covers Cook? Whitner (lol)
Who covers Givens? one of the rookies

More importantly who will the niners run out there at reciever opposite Boldin, better not be Williams because he's shown nothing.

This game is on Kap, he's going to have to shine like he did last season, they're going to need to pound the rock, or the Rams win this one. in a shoot out, because i don't think their D is stopping anybody with this many missing starters.

We are watching it because mr. dbmack is a 49ers fan. He thinks the 49ers are going to get clobbered and blame it on the noise again.

He really did say that, except he used stronger terminology than clobbered.
