Would love to see a big fat 50 dropped on the Redskins tonight...

Yeah a fifty burger on those dudes. They hate us. I wish them nothing but fail and misery. Redskins, Packers are my favorite teams (outside NFC WEST) I wish all the bad things in life happen to them and them only. They whine and cry like babies.

I would love to play Philly. I think out of any team in the league we are poised to not just stop their fast paced offense, but grab it by the throat, give it a wedgie, and slam its face iin the toilet.

I've no idea where this is a gimmick or not, nor do I care cos this is awesome and so cool to watch. JSeahawks, did your Ducks do this all the time? So sweet.

Yep. The Ducks go even faster. With bigger plays. Because they had/have far superior speed to most of their opponents.

The best part for me is I can hear the recruits knocking the Ducks doors down right now. Because the've always been told "Don't go to Oregon, it won't get you to the NFL."

And, as inaccurate as Vick has been, Kelly's never had a QB as accurate as Vick.

I wonder why Chip didn't use timeouts at the end of the half. There was 42 seconds left and it was 3rd and 13 for the Redskins at their own 20. Seems like he could have got the ball back pretty easily.

Philly wouldn't do this against Seattle.

The fact Seattle doesn't have a pass rush and their big corners wouldn't make their offense that good against them.

It'll kill the NFC East who's been drafting pass rushers for the past decade.

Yeah, not really sure that is why we would be able to at least slow Philly down. I would say more like because of Earls speed and Bobby's speed sideline to sideline. You need size and speed to stop chips O, and most of all players who are smart and maintain their gaps and assignments. Big corners don't mean crap in stopping the RB, and honestly in Chips O the QB reads the DE. It doesn't matter if the DE is a great pass rusher or not, Chip will figure it out during the game and exploit the weakness.

Just because it isn't conventional does't mean its a gimmick. Uninformed fans have been calling this offense a gimmick for the last 4 years. You don't win the number of games at the division 1 level this offense has, by a few little trick plays or by luck.

Professional defensive coordinators have been stressing out how to stop this play style for the last 4+ years with limited success. Chip's gimmicks have been adopted by college teams across the nation, and are being studied and applied at the NFL level. This is a long term trend, not some recent flash in the pan. High school and college players who are growing up running this offense today... will be accustomed to and perfecting this offense in the NFL tomorrow.

Just listen to Gruden, Jaws, Dilfer, and many others who call this the future of the NFL. They know a bit more about football concepts than those who easily dismiss this play style as a just a fad.

Mariota completed 70% of his passes last year. IMHO he is an NFL QB, and seeing what Keap, Wilson, RGIII and now the Eagles are doing, will only boost his stock. Kearly has compared Marcus multiple times to Kaep, but without the stupid kissing of his bicep.

Hey, a foreign dude asked. I had to educate.

Haha didn't mean to cause strife between you and the highly esteemed Pehawk :p My bad Pe, I don't get to see alot of college football over here, and having only heard about Oregon's lightning O and Chip coming to the NFL seeing it in all its frenetic glory is quite the novelty! It is working no doubt, but Vick is taking alot of punishment for it (a player of Kerrigan's caliber should never be able to zoom through the line unblocked). Is that a flaw inherent in the system, or is Philly's interior O just not getting it done?
