The brilliance of this offense is it seemingly takes away what every GM has been trying to build for the past 40 years, a pass rush. GM's have been building their defense, with pass rush being THE priority. Well, a superior pass rush actually hurts you with this offense.

Except the Seahawks, they built their defense going outside in. With a "keep it in front of you" philosophy.

It's a gimmick. Washington looked overwhelmed because they didn't know what to expect. Once teams get the tendencies down and they will, the eagles will struggle.

They rely on the tempo/rhythm of their offense to dictate and exploit the defense. That won't happen to the upper echelon teams in the NFC.

Well, it wouldn't work on any defense relying upon press corners, no.

If that was the seahawks defense I would hope so. Fatigue can cause injuries as you just can't protect yourself as well as you would like when tired.

They run a gimmick, the defense will respond with its own to even the field

Defenses without physical, press corners actually won't figure it out, Dom. They'll need to change their scouting philosophy.

The Seahawks are fine, but other teams? They'll have to gamble

Im more impressed with the Eagles D then with their O. I figured they would be swiss cheese. Of course, RG3 doesn't look like RG3 so that helps.

The one thing that will hold the Eagles offense back more than anything is Vick. As talented as he is, his decision making and ability to quickly read defenses is suspect as we've already seen tonight.

If the redskins had any semblance of an offense, no one would be talking about Chips offense.

If Vick could hit an open receiver this game would already be over.

Dude, you aren't for real. You remind me of a 49er fan, trying REALLY hard to act like they know football. Or, Roland.

Their offense is having their way.
