Exactly. If it wasn't a think why do schedule analyzers look for anomalies like that when schedules come out to see where certain teams have more bad matchups?
A Hawks example I can think of was n the 2014 season. Granted the mismatch wasn't as as much as Giants / Seahawks this year but that year the Cowboys came to Seattle and some people called that a potential upset cause the Hawks plays on the east coast (Washington) on Monday night. I was still feeling from the 2013 season and how good this team was and found that notion ridiculous. Until the team played a pretty poor game and lost.
Oddly enough, I was at that Cowboys game but my point was playing MNF then 6 days later having to play a team that had extra rest by playing on the Thursday. The Cowboys played on Sunday so not even close to the same or an egregious advantage.
