Most of the out of town analysts just arnt educated on the team.

I been listening to sirius NFL radio all morning. They been picking the games. Several hosts, John Madden included have been talking about the challenge the Hawks will face on Monday with the loss of Brandon Browner due to suspension.

Makes me want to punch the radio.

You want to punch the radio because John Madden said the Hawks will be challenged on Monday? Err, it's the NFL, every week's a challenge. Not sure why you'd be all bent out of shape.

So many people read the topic, then make up their mind what they are going to say before they even understand what is going on.

They look for a post that they can use to make their point but are so hell bent on pushing it that they don't read or comprehend the post and end up looking silly.

No, I got the point. "outside people don't understand that Lane and Maxwell are super awesome too!" Maybe they'll do fine, but it's still a big concern for any team losing two starting DB's, even teams with good depth like the Hawks.

This is especially true playing one of the top passing teams and QB's in the league, who play four wide A LOT. Thus no need to get bent out of shape over someone saying we'll
be "challenged." OMG NOT CHALLENGED! HOW DARE THEY!
You still don't get it.

He should've just said he really likes Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham.

Didn't need the list.

LOL, because hasn't been OFFICIALLY suspended yet? Or is it cause he was already injured? Or is it cause most of you have some sort of inferiority thin skin complex that causes you to get all worked up and band together like some crazed dysfunctional spite zombies raging against the biased media?

I think it's C.

Looks like he's revised it a bit.

Special teams: Even (Editor's note: Dove into the numbers after seeing reader feedback. Seattle has some clear advantages, but I'm thinking the punting game will be the biggest factor. Thomas Morstead is one of the best in the business.)

So their punter is going to get them the win?

Not sure about giving the pass rush advantage to the Saints either when we put QB's under durress WAY more than anybody else in football

The comment by Madden wasnt biased, it was uneducated and ridiculous...

Not sure why pointing that out makes a fan thin skinned or inferiority-ish

I also have a problem with this, but ST just seemed like the most glaringly obvious miss on his part.

I love his editors note now changing it to even. Just trying to save face, but doesn't want the embarrassment of completely pulling a 180 after some research.

Even this is disgusting. How many yards are we giving up on average per punt return?

Here's what he wrote about Hawks v. Saints:

We're aware of the Seahawks' newly found secondary issues, yet the Saints aren't any better off, following Jabari Greer's injury in Week 11. Call it an upset, as no team has won in Seattle in two years, but we're taking New Orleans. The Seahawks have played very good football over their last two games, but the hit-or-miss offense will have a stiff challenge against the league's fifth-ranked defense. #NOvsSEA

So basically just a hunch. Should have added the #weaksauce hashtag...

Is Jon Ryan STILL not viewed around the NFL as one of the best either? Sheesh...

I get nervous when the "national" media and the respected prognosticators start feeling we are invinsible and will win ...

BECAUSE...

1)We are at home
2)We are firing on ALL cylinders
3)We are rested

I am much more confortable as the UNDERDOG!!

ROFL. I saw this a couple hours ago, and was aghast at him ranking the Saints special teams unit above ours. We've allowed 15 yards on punt returns, and have the 2nd highest kick-off return yardage going for us in the league. I pointed this stuff out to him over the course of a couple Tweets, and now he put a caveat on there about choosing the Saints for special teams.

Yawn. When we win on Monday night, nobody besides Seahawks fans who bothered to read his article will know or even care about what he predicted.

"Can the Seahawks keep up with Brees's high powered offense?" Apparently the talking heads haven't heard that we have scored more points than them this season.
