Adele would be awful, unless you're into being bummed out by slow jams about Adele being dumped.

I was fine with last year's show, good mix of genres and artists, high energy, songs everyone knows. That's all good, much better than the old way of the Stones or U2 doing a whole set.

It sounds mixed up until you realize it has something to do with a few billion people seeing them perform at once. I heard Bruno Mars' ticket sales/prices/tour dates all skyrocketed after his appearance.

I think they could bring back Sir Barefoot from Liverpool again.

Too hard rock, but while we're in this area let's take it a step further and go with Black Sabbath. I mean Ozzy is one of the more recognizable people on the planet. Can you imagine War Pigs at halftime of the Super Bowl?

Yet Foo Fighters has been a staple of NFL bumper music for the better part of 15 years. They're perfect, logically...but the NFL only wants whoever is going to bring in the most casual viewers because screw regular football fans. Must maximize profit at every single opportunity; they can never have too much money.
