So I'm not wrong about my misgivings good to know. Because living in ground central of Chiefs Kingdom doesn't exactly allow for me to be completely current on the Seahawks but my eyes work fine and I know what I see.even if you can ignore the trade and the injuries... I haven't really like what I have seen on the field. He struts around like he is making great plays but the biggest hits I remember have been on his own team mates. He got that sack record because that was the only thing he could do, he was useless in coverage. Ryan Neal was a huge upgrade.
I could try but it usually doesn't work out. When I'm angry I'm totally insane but then my brain takes over and spanks me and I remember to calm down and tell everyone what I'm actually thinking. I'm a very dangerous combination a small red headed woman that loves the Seahawks since my father got me interested in 1977 when we moved from California to Oregon when I was 10 years old.Would you please stop using facts and logic so we can go with the "Peed in her Cheerios" narrative?
Rooting for him to fail? Come on, man! I hope to hell that you weren't directing that at me.Some people want him to fail, it's pretty obvious. Strange times indeed..........
More likely me but I think now he understands and accepts what I'm thinking until proven different. I love Soul I like people that are optimistic because it's something I can't grasp but really want to be.Rooting for him to fail? Come on, man! I hope to hell that you weren't directing that at me.
We're fans that have been frustrated by what at this point in time has been one of if not the worst trade in franchise history, so of course, we're ready to pounce. I'm sure that Denver fans are ready to pounce on their management for the Russell Wilson trade, too. It doesn't mean that we/they want him to fail. It's semi-sarcasm, but it certainly feels like people are ready to pounce. Do you though.
I never root for any Seahawk to fail unless they aren't a Seahawk anymore. It's semi-sarcasm, but it certainly feels like people are ready to pounce. Do you though.
Redhead, that explains it all! I've just resigned myself to whatever we get from Adams this year is a bonus, and maybe Pete and John had a vision of how Adams could be a difference-maker, and it just couldn't come to fruition, but maybe now? We can hope. As far as Geno, I've been surprised and impressed with his growth, and feel like now he's not the limiting factor for the team. Tyler Lockett approves of Geno, and IMO that's a great endorsement.I could try but it usually doesn't work out. Exactly. As long as everyone can understand different views we're fine it's not personal for me.I don't actually think you guys want him to fail. I just don't understand the 24/7 doom and gloom. Or the 24/7 rainbows and sprinkles. I'm happy to be somewhere in the middle. Maybe more towards the positive side. Just my own way of looking at things. Half the time I'm just laughing and having fun.
We all love the Hawks, that's what matters.
I like Geno but he isn't our long-term quarterback so they need to make a decision fast on that. I want no part of paying a 34-35 year old quarterback that isn't Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or when he's that age Patrick Mahomes. 40 million or upwards.Redhead, that explains it all! University of WA has a pretty good QB who's out of college eligibility after this year...I like Geno but he isn't our long-term quarterback so they need to make a decision fast on that.
Penix correct? He's hard to see if he actually translates to the NFL due to scheme and his recievers. Personally I like Rattler. I'd be fine if we could snag Penix in the second round though because on top of what I mentioned he has serious injury history.University of WA has a pretty good QB who's out of college eligibility after this year...
I don't know. Geno is on a team friendly deal for the next couple of years. I'm not arguing against drafting a QBOTF if one falls to us in the draft. Realistically, I suspect they're planning to draft in the 20's again like most years (assuming 10-12 wins). Certainly not gonna get a Heismann candidate there.I like Geno but he isn't our long-term quarterback so they need to make a decision fast on that. Totally on board with the salary cap part of it. Pete's "Winning model" certainly does NOT include paying an elite QB top dollar at the expense of the rest of the roster. Geno's deal seems within Pete's "Winning Model". I like also the team can cut bait after this year (IIRC) if they choose to.I like Geno but he isn't our long-term quarterback so they need to make a decision fast on that. I think that way about Lock too. I think by next year or year after, he can be as good as Geno is this year if he keeps learning and developing. I'm just hoping they can keep him around as QB2 and sign him to a team-friendly deal when they think he's ready for QB1. The rest of the NFL may start to notice if Lock is getting actually good, so keeping him in the fold could be a challenge.I don't know. Geno is on a team friendly deal for the next couple of years. I still think they consider Lock as a possible heir to the throne in 1-3 years, though they didn't sign him to that of course. But hey, Geno signed a couple of one year deals as a backup before he stepped up for the Russ injury and then won the job after the trade. I haven't given up on that idea, that maybe Lock is the possible QBOTF. He's still young, looks to be improving based on his pre-season games this year, and IMO worth the look at it. It's certainly not in Pete's genes to tank for a high draft pick and Schneider would never trade away a ton of picks to get high enough to grab the latest golden boy in the draft. I'm not saying that Lock definitely is "the guy." I'm just saying he's good enough in their eyes to be in the mix.
