This man has come back looking like his former self, and making an enormous impact already... the pocket sure isnt collapsing like it once was. He does look slightly rusty for sure, but I cant think of a better point in time to get a stud RT back in rotation. Heck even in the run game this guy is stout, laying it all on the line after getting thrown in the fire against Bosa. We owe a lot of thanks to Abe this Thanksgiving lol

Given the position Lucas plays there is only so much he can do to improve our running game, particularly when the calls incessantly go over left guard. Only thing I can surmise about that is the game plan must have identified left guard spot as a weakness in the Card's defensive front. It sure didn't work out to be accurate. I think we gained 3 yards once. Other than that we got no gain time after time after time.

Lucas has a way to go yet before reaching his potential but he is doing better than I thought he could at this stage of his recovery. He is definitely a difference maker for us, and will likely get better as his reps increase.

Lucas, is the better overall tackle.

I would take Lucas over Cross right now.

Seattle still needs to hopefully draft some stud offensive lineman this upcoming draft.
Agreed, I hope they focus on LG as our tackles seem to be pretty good at the moment. Braford is improving and our center, although young and inexperienced, has been looking serviceable. Tomlinson seems to be the weakest link.

Looks like he took a step back yesterday but the Cards have a top 12 D (DVOA), so not too worried about it. Although their DLine was ranked 28th heading into week 12 so something to keep an eye on, but he's going to be rusty.
He looked off for sure. I saw one play where he got literally blown up by a Safety. Dude looked like he was half his size and he drove him back into Geno.

I'll give him a pass and trust next week will be better.

If Lucas can play for another few years, it would be great for the Hawks, as we won't have to invest draft capital on tackles, we can focus on guards.

Maybe reducing his snap count and easing him back a bit slower?

Draft some mean guys at G please (crossed fingers). I do think we stick with Olu, so long as he keeps improving. He’s cheap and young.(sorry Olu, I do want all players to get paid lol)

Cross has been shaky the past couple games. I recall watching him get pancaked against the 49ers while Geno made a hero ball work out for a first down…. Sort of worrisome.

Schneider, as I’ve said previously, isn’t a great talent evaluator of offensive lineman. Sure, in his history of drafts, he’s drafted offensive lineman, but, more lineman has not worked out than has. Seattle and Schneider need to reevaluate their rating system of offensive lineman cause for the most part, they have not worked out.

I was concerned with that degenerative condition he might never come back. So thrilled he is. His play was so immediately noticeable. Once ge fets more in game shape and builds up his stamina, he’s going to improve even more.
