Nice!

I mean, it's not even October yet. But realistically, who beats these guys? Seattle this season is proving it can win anywhere, against anyone, no matter the level of adversity it faces.

Down 20-3 at the half to the Texans, and missing three starting offensive linemen, the always-confident Seahawks showed the grit and resiliency they're now known for, outscoring shell-shocked Houston 20-0 the rest of the way, including 17-0 from the start of the fourth quarter on. It is the first time the Seahawks have won a game after trailing by at least 14 points in the fourth quarter since Dec. 29, 2002 against San Diego. The 23-20 victory makes Seattle 4-0 for the first time in the franchise's 38-year history, and sends the message to the rest of the NFC that Pete Carroll's Seahawks are almost impossible to stop. If Houston's defense couldn't put them away with a 17-point halftime lead at home and the Texans' two-headed ground game rolling, who can?

And this:

But the venue really is starting to not matter so much to Seattle. With September almost in the books and the season's quarter mark having arrived, the Seahawks are the clear-cut class of the NFC and look unstoppable.

Oh ya.

But ... their QB is still a little too short and couldn't pass over those new starting linemen ...
And their receivers aren't good enough.
And their corners are just trash talkers ...
And their coach couldn't win in NE
And there is no way they can beat Andrew Luck in Indy.
And ... and ... and ...

Not to be negative about his but we barely won both our road games this year. Are we a much better road team than in the past, yes. Are we taking it to the other teams in their house, no. If we played to our potential on the road then we would be a complete team. The last four road games (playoffs included) we stunk it up in the first half and have had to pull off some incredible feats to win the games outright (except for Atl game). This winning by incredible comebacks cuts it way to close for me. I know we have won these road games of late but without some bonehead plays and teams learning to finish we would have lost most.

Bottom line: We have to find a way to start games off strong on the road or it will come back to haunt us.

Would you rather we start off our road games strong like say the 2007 divisional playoff at Lambeau field? (up 14-0), or finished them strong like yesterday, at Carolina, at Atlanta (even though we didn't win), at Washington and at Chicago?

We just went into Houston - a playoff team the last 2 years and probably this year with 2 all-pro linemen missing, a rookie starting his first game and a center in only his fifth start, and won. They kept flashing up the graphic during the game, that Houston were 43-5 under Kubiak when they run the ball 30 times or more, and only lost once at home in the last 2 years at home when they've run it over 30 times - in a game where A: they were missing Arian Foster and B: had a chance to tie it with the PAT, but went for 2 and failed. They ran it 34 times yesterday.
TWO YEARS.
