I remember when I lined up at wide receiver and used to complain to my quarterback how I was so wide open and that he needs to look for me next time.

Then I started 9th grade.

This young man needs to take lessons bout football. If it takes him 4 seconds to get open, does the QB have to wait? As the second read on a short pass, the QB is supposed to skip the WR1 when both become open at the same time? or, he's the first read, but the 2nd read becomes open before him, QB already pulled the trigger?

Gee, I never played and even I could think of some situations.
