Actually, the only one here making stuff up is yourself, suggesting he never put the work in the gym, and that you've watched more tape on QBs than Todd McShay......

View attachment 57927

If you don't believe he'll be able to add more muscle as he enters his mid 20's with pro nutritionists and trainers, that's fine, I won't judge you.
Okay DR. massari. Mr Make Stuff Up. Please quote me to where is said I watch more tape than Todd McShay.

McShay was giving his opinion. Please provide stats to support his argument.

I'm suggesting he didn't put enough work in the gym, maybe I went a bit too far with no work. Again, even if his body matures to 205 lbs., that is still a slight frame for a QB taking blindside hits from 300 lbs. men. It's a gamble, with his frame, to take in the top 5.

I've been proven to be right on prospects this year off what I have seen. Todd was late on Will McDonnald.

I'm not fooled by your copy paste opinions from Seahawks draft blog and other draft sites 🤷‍♂️

You obviously only follow mainstream draft people and give their opinion as the gold standard, and you probably don't actually take the time to scout prospects (from the way you try to debate prospects).

I give credit to good sources, and I've given a shout out to Rob Staton multiple times on prospects. Good stand-up draft people do that, they credit draft evaluators they respect, although maybe not always agree with. Prospect evaluation is a process and yes you have to go to multiple sources to get a feel for how others see a prospect.

Here was my take on Will McDonald way back in November, when no draft evaluators had him in the 1st round. He was a know prospect before the season but not as legit 1st round prospect. Yes, Rob Staton and other draft sites where not impressed with him back in November.

Even if I were a true football savant like yourself, watching every game of 100s of players would be very difficult to achieve. I should get better with the copy paste feature like 99% of the online social media and forum experts.

Again, the way you debate shows you that you don't actually scout prospects. No facts or actual scouting take on a prospect, you are just basically name calling. lol

Why even engage in a debate about a prospect if that's how you feel about 99% of the online social media and forum experts. There are a lot of us on here that don't agree on prospects, but you are going off topic. I'll chalk it up to you having a bad day. We are all Seahawks fans on here.

I suggest you go back and take a look at this conversation and how it began

I did you were making assumptions.
You believe it's a stretch for an athlete to add 10lbs of muscle as his metabolism slows down with age as he enters his mid 20s, with pro nutritionists and trainers. Funny thing to argue about. Again, I won't judge you for that.

The only outlandish assumptions here aren't coming from me.....

Take a look at your arguments, you disregard 99% of people who follow/evaluate prospects. You keep arguing about metabolsim, pro nutritionitsts and trainers...Alabama has the best of everything when it comes to training, they are basically an NFL franchise. So it's not like Young hasn't had the opportunity to take advantage of it.

I given you multiple opportunities to back up your statements and you deflect to something else. Man up to your statements or your opinions on scouting prospects and don't defect to non-sense. You argue like a politician, never admitting when they are/or may be wrong.

You talk like I'm the only one in the world that has a concern about Bryce Young's size/weight. Everyone has a concern about his size and how he will hold up in the NFL.

I take McShay with a grain of salt there is no way that Young got hit more than Levis. Young played behind a very good O line with good skill players not as good as last year but still good. Levis played behind a turnstile with his only decent skill player was a RB

Here’s a chart of SEC QBs that includes how many times they were sacked. Young was sacked 18 Levis 36
