More miles probably means more time zone changes as well, that does affect you.I'm not convinced that miles traveled is a good gauge of how much a team has to endure on a road trip. The amount of time in the air varies, but there's the hassle of getting to the airport, checking bags, going through security, boarding, taxi, landing/deboarding, picking up luggage, and checking into the hotel. All of those things are constant no matter how far you fly, and the percentage of the time occupied doing that stuff goes up as the miles go down. The actual flying time is the least stressful of all those other inconveniences.
Do you remember the east coast jinx theory? It was more of an issue with us fans than it was with the teams.More miles probably means more time zone changes as well, that does affect you.

Yep.Brian Nemhauser aka Hawkblogger reported early Wednesday morning that the Seahawks’ road opener will be Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It looks like we won't have to wait long to see our old friend DK.
