2023 draft grades

I’ve posted on a couple other threads that I don’t like grading a draft class upon completion of that draft. As a teacher, it’s like giving my students grades just for turning in an assignment without assessing their actual work. They, as in draft experts, say it takes two years to really know how a team drafted. With that said, here are my grades on the 2023 draft.

• Devon Witherspoon. A+
• Jaxon Smith-Njigba. A+
• Derick Hall. B+
• Zach Charbonnet. B+
• Anthony Bradford. C
• Cameron Young. F
• Mike Morris. D
• Olu Oluwatimi. B-

That was a great draft. Olu, Bradford and Hall have an opportunity to raise their overall grades this season. I think Morris might be done.

Witherspoon is no way A+, maybe A- considered where he was picked

Same with JSN, he was the first receiver picked, and today he is not the best. A- or maybe A if generous
