All Seahawks draft picks, 1 thru 7, are still with the team, and it looks like within the next couple weeks, ALL will have played meaningful snaps and contributed in 2020. Has this EVER happened before for the Hawks, a 100% "hit rate" on draft picks 1-7? And has your personal "grade" for the 2020 Seahawks draft changed at all since the draft ended?

This is based on the info that Darrell Taylor is set to return, and Colby Parkinson is back from IR and now with Greg Olson out 4-6 weeks, the TE group will need him playing. If both those guys contribute, especially Taylor as the pass-rusher PC/JS project him to be, this could turn out to be a memorable draft class.

The exciting thing is that at least 3 of the rooks have already having made game-deciding contributions in wins! (Damien Lewis playing C vs Cards, Alton Robinson with an unlikely game-saving sack on Dak Prescott, DeeJay Dallas with a solid game as emergency starter vs SF) The number should have been 4 rooks with game-deciding plays, as Jordyn Brooks play on Kyler Murray in the first AZ game denied the Cards a TD after the Budda Baker near-pick-6.

1 27 LB Jordyn Brooks, Texas Tech C+
2 48* EDGE Darrell Taylor, Tennessee C+
3 69* G Damien Lewis, LSU B
4 133 TE Colby Parkinson, Stanford B+
4 144^ RB DeeJay Dallas, Miami C+
5 148* DE Alton Robinson, Syracuse B-
6 214^ WR Freddie Swain, Florida
C
7 251*^ TE Stephen Sullivan, LSU A-

7th rounder Stephen Sullivan got on the field as a DE, of all things, and had a 3rd down tackle for loss! 6th rounder Freddie Swain has looked solid and caught some balls.

So far, 3rd rounder Damien Lewis has been a huge bright spot, winning the competition at G as a rookie, and then playing C in an emergency role and doing it well. 1st rounder Jordyn Brooks is on the field, starting now, and progressing, but still has lots to learn. I think we're all excited and hopeful to see what Darrell Taylor will bring to our pass rush, especially opposite Dunlap.

It has been awesome for these guys to play! It has kind of sucked that they have had to due to injury. Looks like a few good picks in there to me though. Good points Oly.

No! No! No! No! No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seahawks always draft losers and they all suck. The Seahawks have never drafted a player who was worth a damn. Big Walt was as close as they could get to a good pick but he could have been had in the 3rd round if we had waited. Another reach!

Lewis has been an A+++ pick. He should hold down the G spot for the next 8-10 years.

John, this thread will not be enough to save your job.

We will be moving off from you shortly then PC won't have his protector any longer & then he will be justifiably gone.

Then Seahawks fans everywhere will be able to rejoice & enjoy our 4-12 2022 campaign.

The 2020 draft is absolutely looking good.

There's a persistent, fundamental misunderstanding of the talent that can be reasonably expected from each draft slot. Seattle has punched far above that in both 2019 and 2020. Those who claim the team has been drafting badly as of late just... aren't really telling the truth, to be quite honest. It's a myth born from falsehoods.

Oops! I thought I was going to .NET, but I guess the autocomplete in the URL bar in my browser took me to Seahawks Draft Blog instead. Uh... "good" to see you, Mr. Staton.

Doesn't need to be swapped. Swapping changes nothing. They got the same cumulative talent from the same draft capital. That's the thing people need to realize.

I, for one, have been shocked by the top to bottom immediate contributory success of this year's rookie class. That is such a rarity it defies reality of norm, especially if Taylor can reach his expected potential. Unbelievable draft class.

Good thing too, cause we aren't in position to do a lot in the draft for the next couple years.
