Thx for the reminder. Got Aug. 12th for myself, and a couple other dates for friends to take family.

I miss taking a weekend to head to Cheney. Chatting up the players casually as they walk to and from the building, walking around the perimeter of the field without restriction to catch whatever position group or 7-on-7s and so forth. The best was rewarding yourself from the blistering Cheney Sun with some beverages at the local watering hole that a few players would almost always inevitably show up at as well. And to top it all off we would gather at Les and Darlene's for Kick-A-Poo and awesome grub. Now those truly were the days.

Not just you. Two-a-days are ancient history, and the actual number of days of contact are pretty limited by recent CBAs. You can argue the value of that one way or the other, but it's a fact. They watch that stuff carefully now. The Seahawks have been sanctioned recently for "excessive contact" in training camp.HawkGA":1sxtxe91 said:

Sounds to me like Pete Carroll's goal is to build a balanced but unique team. With teams in the league stressing 4 and 5 wide outs leaning on multiple defensive backs, the unique goal for 2019 appears to be that of keeping base offensive and defensive personnel on the field more than typical opponents do. That goes a long way toward explaining preferences in personnel signed for 2019.
