Yes 12th man, I am calling you all out including myself. What the hell are we doing? We are the damn 12th man! The best damn fans in the NFL! We have definitely slipped up as fans. I mean the attitude we had after Kansas City took the world record from us this year was pathetic. We need to care because how should we expect the team to play like champions, if the fans don't act like champions?

If we are supposed to be the best in the NFL then we need to act like the best instead of the average fans. Our team needs us, but instead we are sitting here blaming everyone and whining about this and that. Last year this team didn't win by itself because they had the spirit of the 12th man which I am not seeing this year. We need to remind them that we are the damn champions and we need to start acting like a championships. Yesterday should be a wake up call for us that being the loudest fans in the NFL isn't enough. We need to dig deeper and find other ways to lift the team when they are down. We need to find some way to let the team know that we still love them and that they are still the champions, so that they can lift their heads up and start acting like the real champs again.

Remember after the Atlanta game? Where is that support and passion? The players have always supported the fans even when we haven't been our best. Lets do our part and bring home another damn Super Bowl Trophy this year!

GO HAWKS!!

I was in the stands doing my part screaming on every down before the line up trying my best to disrupt the cowboys communication. Waving my arms trying to amp up others. Telling people screaming "Sea....Hawks" on offense to shut up. I stayed there doing my part until the clock hit 0 unlike the thousands who left 2-3 minutes early. WTH am I supposed to do?

All I'm saying is that we should understand that this team is not the same as last year, but we can try to stay positive and believe that theyll get it turned around. As fans we should shoulder some responsibility otherwise why call ourselves the 12th man?

There were some doing their part, and I applaud them for trying when the rest of the crowd was either a)Cowboys fans or b)confused that this wasn't the golf tournament they thought they attended. Worst crowd I've ever been a part of at the CLink. The away game at 'Zona last year had more juice! Time to rest those voices the next few weeks. Fans have to refocus just like the players and coaches do. We're better than that awful showing yesterday, all the way around.

Maybe we can all yell run plays in unison and Wilson will call said run play in the huddle, thus overriding Bevell's 137th bubble screen call of the game.

I like this idea.

I don't blame the 12's, I blame one man. One man that has singlehandedly cost the Seahawks a victory.

Yup, Don Swayze...

It would be insensitive for me to reference Patrick Swayze, outside of an "XOXO....Patrick Swayze's Pancreas" capacity.

Thought I'd add some random distraction to a thread destined for lockdown. As pmedic said, these don't end well, so get the laughs and "fun" while you can.

Don looks like he's had the top right quadrant of his head dented in, as if Andre the Giant just grabbed his head and pressed in with his thumb.

Crowd noise has always been a function of urgency. Cowboys always have a strong road presence and the Hawks fans were expecting a blowout yesterday and were sort of stunned to be so badly outplayed. Noise will be louder as fan expectations go down a bit and urgency increases.

I don't think the KC sound thing is meaningful in anyway.

Us true fans have been through this, and much worse. Move along, there's nothing to see.

I respect your opinion, but I'm not a drone. I naturally balk when somebody says "blindly follow this, because if you don't, you are {fill in the negative)".

With that said, I don't need to crush your enthusiasm and joy of the team, I'm with you. I have big hopes for the Hawks this season, just realizing the team and the coaching are not the magic bullet that will beat NFL odds. The team is going to have to grind it out like all the other teams.

IMO there are two major differences between this team and last years...

1. Bevell getting a little cute with the offense.

2. The swagger is gone.

I was at the game and I don't know what the heck you're talking about. The crowd was jacked out of their minds until Dallas finally went up 27-23. Even then, they were quiet because we were on offense. That's kinda how it works.

I was getting drunk on champagne and enjoying the hell out of the game. It was a great game. Back and forth the whole time. Yeah, we lost. So what. I really am getting old because I just didn't care all that much, wasn't too bummed at all. Better yet, some really hot chick in a Dallas jersey bought me a birthday drink and was chatting me up. Girlfriend didn't really like it, but this old man sure did!!
