On paper, this is a lights out baseball team and they're finally getting the win column to align with expectations.
Ugliest win in my memory was the 2006-2007 season opener @ Detroit. We escaped 9 to 6, with a last minute game winner from Josh Brown. Matt Hasselbeck took 350lb Shaun Rogers' helmet to the ribs and had a massive bruise to match.
He has world class track speed but also a very long stride. He is deceptive because it doesn't look like he's going that fast until you see him jet past the free safety like they're standing still.
What always baffled me was the way that despite a simple offense, we were always getting stupid procedural penalties, false starts, and whiffed blocks.
