    No more forcing Charbs runs

He had a good game as a runner. But he's reverting to the mean. Run clock with short passes.

    I hate 3 man rush.

Even when it works Exhausts your DL and gives the QB extra time to find a receiver. Hate it.

    String of missed tackles

Feels like the momentum shifted. The defense feels like it lost a lot of its fire. Looks like the turning point of the game. And one more reason not to re-sign Geno unless he can make up for that with TD in the next drive.

    Walker isnt a reliable RB1.

He's better in space. Almost like a Sproles type. Would be a great RB2 in a 'Thunder and Lightning' approach. But we need a RB1.

    Is Geno point shaving?

Being serious. Geno is making a lot of decisions that make no sense if you are a professional QB but a lot more sense of you are trying to make sure your team does not succeed on offense. If you told me he had bets on the Rams or a deal with someone that does? I'd believe you.

    Geno better redeem himself.

He keeps reverting to the mean. But the rest of the team is playing too hard to lose i because of him. There wasn't even a Hawk in the area he flung it to.

Seeing way too many of our defenders trying to strip the ball.

If I'm the coach and I see any defenders trying to strip the ball...I'm benching them for the rest of the drive. It's pissing me off.

    We clearly miss DK

The Bills are keeping near their entire secondary just off the LOS. Walker is going to struggle against these stacked boxes though he might break a long one since nobody will be back there.

    Hallmarks of a bad coach

    1. Excessive penalties 2. Poor redzone scoring production 3. Poor 3rd down conversion % 4. Subpar clock management 5. Blames players for poorly implemented strategy and tactics (ie bad playcalling) 6. Teams seem to make mistakes constantly that derail successes 7. Teams seem poorly prepared 8...

Worst Secondary to play for the Hawks

After watching Tre Brown look like he literally placed bets on the Giants....I need to remember CBs that were worse than him. Who are some of the worst players you can remember that infested our secondary? Hoping some of the stench of Tre Brown will wash off if I can remember guys that were...

Want to make new excuses for our garbage secondary?

Looks like they were more 'good' because we played a hapless collection of 4th tier QBs. I expect this is more the fault of our DC but either way they look like a bottom third secondary right now

    Charbs as a runner

Good lord. If you need 2 yards, he'll get you 2. If you need 8, he'll get you 2. Decent as a target in the passing game. But pretty much garbage as a runner. Makes Homer look like Barry Sanders. Unless you need 1 or 2 yards, a waste of a down

    Rams got Verse

There were two guys I wanted the Rams not to get. 1. Penix 2. Verse Verse is probably going to be a thorn in our side for years. Probably wreck us as much or more than Donald (Donald was better but you can hold DTs, harder to hold a DE without getting noticed). Ick.

We ran it on 3rd and 14

Are we going to bother trying to get the 1st down (even on 3rd down!) all night? Everything is short of the sticks, but for a few times.

More Backup QBs as starters trend?

It might be illusion. But it certainly seems that more starting QBs are going down than normal. While players getting bigger/faster could contribute to this - if you watch the games you notice a tendency of QBs not to be scared to get hit. That combined with their mobility, means they not only...

Not playing like we deserve to win anyway

No team that is this godawful at open-field tackles, deserves to win anything. The tackling is not just atrocious, it is noxious, if not putrid. Seattle teams, even our crappy 2 wins teams, had solid defense. Not sure what F this is, but it ain't Seahawk football.

Can we please stop running Charbs unless we need just 3?

It isn't a mystery. He's getting 3 yards. if you need 3 yards? Great. He's squandering downs, if not possessions. If you want him to contribute and get more than 3 yds, pass him the ball. But he's too slow to get much running.

    Marshawn Lynch Interview

Really great interview (NSF language) Worth watching. Lots of Seahawk content. (In my mind, anything Lynch is Seahawk content anyway - he's always a Seahawk.) Glad to hear his favorite RB is my favorite RB. #1 Sanders #2 Lynch If this was posted earlier, just erase it.

You can never have enough DBs

We have some DB starters out. But Mike Jackson is disappointing. He isn't afraid to make a tackle, unlike some DBs. That might be why Pete seems to like him. But he appears to struggle with coverage - that's kind of like being a pitcher that has trouble 'throwing the ball'. Seems a critical...

12 yards of offense in a half

Plenty of threads on the defense. Still trying to wrap my head around this since 9 yds came from a Charb run at the end of the game in garbage time. We literally had 3 yds of offense in the 2nd half while the game mattered. Now consider you get 3yds in the 1st snap of the game if its a run. A...
