    Here to happily eat crow

I’ll have a plate of what you’re eating. I felt that Seattle had to be effective in the red zone and score more than 20 points to win. Especially having watched the Niners closely the last three weeks. We weren’t effective at all, blowing a TD on the first drive and having two missed FG’s...

It's simple to bash the Offense...

Yeah…… Forgot about that for a second. Once it was obvious we weren’t snapping the ball, I was waiting for mike to call the timeout and send Jason in.

    CMC had the look of…

I agree he looked exhausted. He’s not used to being shut down like that. Hell, I’m not used to seeing him shut down like that. It was glorious.

You knew it was over when ......

Two games in a row we converted on third and long with a run !

We lost to three playoff teams by a total of nine points.

Glad you have those tapes. You can use them to see a niners touchdown.

Nah… The big difference between us and those Lions is that the Lions had a motivational type coach who 100% relied on his coordinators. Once Johnson left, they were a shell of their former self. Campbell is a great coach and mentor but was very reckless in prioritizing his teams identity over...

    Good luck boys....

I’m calling BS @Marvin49 , no need to be coy. You think the Niners are winning. I just hope Kubiak attacks the Niners defense instead of trying too hard to coddle Darnold from making mistakes. I think we are going to need more than 20 points to beat the Niners. CMC and Purdy are playing really...

Hasselbeck On Seahawks vs 49ers- Rob Staton w/Bump&Stacy

Has was on Brian Nemhauser’s podcast earlier and was clear that he was very concerned about the game this week. I was actually a bit surprised becasue of his usual pro-Seahawks leanings. Purdy could pose a serious problem with his ability to extend plays, I’ve always said that he’s one heck...

Bobo named Captain of this upcoming game

I heard it’s a reward for agreeing to start at left tackle.

Just like if the Niners happen to make the Super Bowl, they’ll blow another championship against an inferior opponent because of the ego of your head coach. You can still find VHS recorders on Amazon though if you want to remember what it was like to win a Super Bowl with an Uber talented team.

Raiders gonna get that #1 pick

Hopefully they will have our number 1 pick too.. As we add a little edge rusher named Crosby to our repertoire.

    Rodgers (pending disciplinary action)

Probably a $15k or $25k fine. About half what he makes per snap.

Aros’ Fearless Prediction Thread (@ 9ers)

I’ll be the first … I think we are subject to a couple of awful calls that extend Niner drives. Purdy is allowed to run east to west while our guys get held to convert on third and medium/long. It will come down to the final drive and the Niners get in field goal range. Niners - 20...

This 5 seed scenario isn’t too shabby either.

They’d probably be the one if they were in the AFC.

This 5 seed scenario isn’t too shabby either.

It’s interesting though. I actually watched the Rams/Eagles game in Philly this year (on tv I mean). The Rams were up 26-7 in the third and I thought they were clearly the better team. Rams had a 44 yard FG attempt to end the game that was blocked. Rams would go in feeling confident I...

Then and now.... biggest difference from Week One?

I think the QB is the obvious exception. Fair considering the added responsibility and accountability for a player demanding upwards of 20% of an entire 53 man team’s roster.

    Week 18 Power Rankings

Sooooo “head coach” Mac has the best away record in the NFL the last two years , but McVay is a ‘savant’ who can win anywhere which catapults them to number one. Even though he has lost 3 of the last 5 with two of those on the road to teams we destroyed in away games. But, but, but…. They...

We lost to three playoff teams by a total of nine points.

True and good catch. I never considered the possibility the Rams would lose any of their last two. I remember being cautiously optimistic. I feel bad admitting this, but my first thought was “it’s a good signing because we can get out of it after a year”. All the talk was how Darnold only...
