We are So F’n Lucky - Darnold

Maybe I should have said “We are so F’n Blessed”. Nah, but so curious how we get to a fan base that nit pics such a commonly used phrase to describe excitement that aligns everyone. Still feel F’n lucky!

We are So F’n Lucky - Darnold

I know, right. Makes Darnold that much more impressive.

We are So F’n Lucky - Darnold

Cowherd asks some insightful/challenging questions that might have irritated a less confident person. Darnold is all class, never throwing anyone under the bus, all positive learning experiences. Dude is $$!

    Can't let them both walk

Jim Brown was a big dude that could move. Going way back, jim Thorpe was a man amongst boys...but would be considered average size by today's standards.

    Can't let them both walk

Top RB's get more than $10m/yr, but still 1/2 or less than top WR.

    So I’m That Guy Now.

My roomates and I rented that VHS and kept it for more than a year. Blazing 420 and watching it after our Saturday night closing shift at Chili's was a weekly event. Ted: Now your dad's going for it in your own room! Bill: Shut up, Ted. Ted: Your stepmom *is* cute, though. Bill: Shut up, Ted...

    So I’m That Guy Now.

Enjoying the season and looking for improvents are not mutually exclusive. IMO, This is a Kaizen event and the Rams O has been identified as the biggest opportunity. Just the way some folks think...myself included. What did the Panthers and Falcons do to counter McVay and Stafford. I assume...

He'll get his 5th year excercised which will factor into his extension, which he's available to negotiate now.

Can we repeat in SoFi Please.

First...I love the idea of beating the Stealers in SoFi a year after dismantling the Pats. A devils advocate take is that I thought the same thing about the Pats in 2025. The AFC is a weak conference, with probably the Bills and Donkeys as top contenders. Maybe the Texans. But the Bills...

    Can't let them both walk

There will be a $30m+ difference between K9 and JSN contracts...I don't think K9 is the deal that causes JSN to leave. But I'd wager that K9 will be on a different team next year. I expect Spoon to get a contract sooner than JSN...only based on recent rumblings that JSN wants to be the highest...

    Replace Mafe?

Don't disagree. Mafe & Woolen could fetch #3 ea. if we aren't active at that level of FA.

    Replace Mafe?

I think Woolen fit our style fine when evaluated specifically for on-field production. $$ & immaturity will cause him to to elsewhere. The idea we already have Mafe's replacement on the team is interesting. Clearly coaching under MM is next level...one of those dudes might be ready to make...

    Replace Mafe?

Projections have Mafe getting mid edge $$ (PFF $16m/yr & Spotrack $12m/yr). Talking heads are mostly aligned to Mafe departing. Dan Viens speculated (to be clear, he did not predict this) who the hawks could sign to replace Mafe (Odafe Oweh, Los Angeles Chargers) for the same ball park...

    Re-evaluating Sam's Super Bowl

💯 Sam can make every throw and won a bunch of games for us this year. This average tag comes from some odd belief he’s only a game managers. He manages when the plan calls for it and he’s Superman when he gets the call. It’s more accurate to say Sam “can be a game manager when needed”…but...

    Re-evaluating Sam's Super Bowl

Milton had himself a game as well. But to your point, individual performances don't mean squat when the opponent plays as a unit.

    Re-evaluating Sam's Super Bowl

Comparatively, our O-line was superior. But those Pats interior lineman applied a $hit load of pressure. Sam didn’t have an easy day, but handled it really well. He executed the plan that MM and KK dialed in like a surgeon. Gonzalez played an excellent game and denied the O considerable...

Seahawks Ownership Simulation - You're the new owner

1st thing: Ask JS if there's any barriers he needs removed. 2nd thing: Ask MM if there's any barriers he needs removed. 3rd thing: Get out of their way.
