New beverage discrepancies at CenturyLink Field

I'll duplicate my post below but if you think this is interesting and should be address, please consider sending out a Twitter or visiting Facebook and liking and/or sharing my post. https://www.facebook.com/bob.ramstad.9/ ... nref=story Beverage discrepancies at CenturyLink Field for Seahawks...

Going to the championship game this weekend

Tailgating will start around 7:30 AM, perhaps earlier. I've heard from folks that have had a great time just wandering around the area south of the stadium, north of Lander, in the alleys... you'll find it difficult to negotiate the food and beer thing, my recommendation would be to bring a...

I wonder how many Kam Chancellor jerseys sold today

This thread is funny. I got my wife an Earl limited for Christmas and when we were rewatching the game on the DVR after I got home from the game, she turned to me and said "you know, if you wanted to get me a second jersey, I'd take a Kam". I was highly amused.

Most Expensive Game in Seahawks History?

Visiting side seats at CLink are always cheaper, and it makes very little sense, the visiting side gets more sun and has tons of Seahawks fans... not a lot of visitors actually. Ticket prices often collapse in the day or two before the game, if you are willing to wait, but sometimes they just...

Most Expensive Game in Seahawks History?

This is a direct result of New England hosting so many AFC Championship games over the last 10 years or so. It may also be somewhat concerns about the weather (I've suffered through some horrific temperatures and conditions at Foxboro). Finally the Colts are not a marquee team the way the...

Most Expensive Game in Seahawks History?

I'm fairly sure that the (limited) tickets available are only sold in person at the box office. They'll only have a few thousand tickets, maybe less. There were images online of the people lining up for tickets immediately after we beat the Panthers.

    Superbowl ticket prices are Rediculous!!!

Yeah, other people will chime in as there was a lot of detail going on last year about this but basically at this point you're looking at a very thin number of tickets, with a purchaser base that just wants to go to the game and doesn't care about a specific team i.e. a customer who is not...

Where's The Fevered Pitch in The Northwest?

Um, yeah. No one is excited about the Panthers. Some of that is we've beat them quite a few times recently. Some of that is they don't have any real strong media personalities other than Cam Newton. We all know other teams that have "notorious" players which I think is why the 49ers games...

    Guess who's coming to town?

As an aside, they were supposed to come here eight years ago, and the NFL moved the game to Pittsburgh. There's a totally bogus rule about east coast teams not having to make more than two trips to the west coast, per season, or something like that, and the NFL routinely jiggles around home and...

Just saw Zach Miller at Bellevue Square

Veteran's contracts are guaranteed if they are on the roster for day one, they get paid for the whole year. This arrangement is only legal -- where he gets paid per game -- if he is cut before the first game, and then signed after. Of course, if we cut him, he could get signed elsewhere. It...

Pricey to be a Hawks Fan..anyone actually get tickets legit?

Actually as a charter seat holder, our ticket prices have gone up extremely in the last few years. It was not long ago that tickets in my section were $50 or thereabouts and now they are $120. They've more than doubled in five years. I've complained about it repeatedly. They have raised...

The Sounds of a Marshawn Lynch Touchdown From Two Miles Away

Cool stuff. Reminds me of living in Boston near Fenway Park. We used to put the TV out on the lawn, turn the sound off, and listen to the crowd from a few blocks away while watching the game. Super cool. Also fun to stand on the overpass near Landsdowne Street with a radio, you could see...

    Lurker...new member here. Couple thoughts.....

I absolutely agree on the last comment. If he pulls off BeastQuake 3.0 either in the playoffs this year, or next year, and has a productive season next year as well, he's in really good shape to make it to Canton. He's probably the most distinctive running back in 20 years.

Company "Holiday" Party conflicts with Hawks Game on 10th

We moved my daughters birthday party from Saturday to Friday... my wife didn't ask and so had no idea that the Seahawks could end up playing on Saturday LOL

Have Teams Found Ways to Counter the Noise at The CLINK?

To the PP, I've definitely seen more delay of game penalties recently than is normal, and I also see the visiting team burning timeouts to get a new play call in. These are absolutely game changing and in some ways even better than a false start penalty. I LOVE it when the opponent has to call...

    I'm a Seahawks snob now.

I'm the same way and it started last year. In fact, I bought nothing from last year until the Super Bowl stuff all went on sale about a month ago. Got a great hat for like $15. I plan to execute the same strategy in November 2015, buying our second Super Bowl win swag on clearance.

Any one able to get playoff tix?

I dunno, my experience differs. It seems to me that prices go down a bit when the public onsale happens -- because there are more tickets going into the system -- and then as people realize they don't have a line on tickets at face value or near that i.e. they check with friends or whatnot...

Looks like we get the winner of Carolina/Arizona

Ditto. I was totally excited when I realized we wouldn't have to play both the Cowboys and the Packers. It's a really excellent feature of the quirks of the seeding...

Have Teams Found Ways to Counter the Noise at The CLINK?

Um. I'd agree with PP in that teams are definitely preparing more and you see pretty much every team come in with silent count for offense, and many of them have earplugs for the linemen so that they can't even hear the snap count if they wanted to... it is supposed to make them more focused...

    12th Man Flag today?

It's interesting, this year they've kept the leaks to a minimum. In seasons past, it was very common for me to hear Friday or thereabouts who was raising the flag, and I wasn't even trying to find out, would just hear. These days I haven't heard I think all season.
